Mac user, so I used the OS X install method for Root, Kernel and CWM
I followed These instructions:
http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...nformation-mac-os-x-users-updated-3-28-a.html
For DL09 or EA 28 who want to upgrade to Froyo (2.2):
Download and extract:
1-click-clockworkmod-2.1-to-2.2-v1.0.zip
Enable USB debugging and Stay awake under Settings > Applications > Development, leave the phone in the Development window
Plug your phone into your computer
Double click kernel.app, confirm install (process should take about a minute)
Phone will be rebooted automatically if first step was successful
When your phone boots back up, double click cwm.app, confirm install (process should take less than 20 seconds)
Phone will be rebooted automatically if second step was successful
Close terminal
I am on EA28 so I believe this was the correct method...
