I had the preview G4 for about a month now and never used either of those features on my phone. Got the Verizon vedsion last night in white, because the leather gets old and many cases being made wont fit it anyways.

AT&T has the black leather too. I've read that it's slippery and feels "faux". Not sure if I'm quite ready to spend almost $100 for another back yet though. I wonder if the red feels like the black or feels like the brown?

I've read nothing but good things about the red in looks, feel etc... The black on the other hand is 90% bad 10% good. The brown and red seem to be near 100% good.

True I am not stuck but Verizon gets better service where I need it, and they are a lot cheaper (order of magnitude) than T-Mobile for my uses as I have a legacy plan.

Personally, I prioritize network and cost over a "better" version of a phone.

Just took my Verizon piece of crap back to the store.

Got the T-Mobile Brown (REAL) Leather.

It's absolutely disgusting that the Verizon G4 has so many things Disabled and missing, it's damn shameful.

I bet the list is even bigger, but I stopped caring at these past 2 and didn't dig further that's enough for me to return it. that and the FAKE leather back the black version has.

I highly doubt LG put a fake leather back plate on the G4. Unless Verizon is doing a huge scam, which I also doubt.

Verizon advertises it as genuine leather, so it certainly is genuine leather. Don't see why they would falsely advertise it this way. Of course the quality doesn't seem high end,but genuine leather nonetheless.

I didn't see it but at the same time I cashed out on the h815 version first... You probably can't double dip on the same Google account.
