[Review] Seidio Innocase Active Limited Edition

Just got an email from amazon saying the case will arrive on tuesday june 15.

I'm sticking with the Innocase Active Limited Edition for now. It just seems like the build quality might be a bit higher, and I like the more ruggedness of it. It doesn't squeak, and is a perfect fit. But if it turns out that only the Innocase II Surface will work with their car dock, i may have to switch back.

The dark rubber might turn a bit lighter from dust, but no larger particles have gotten in between the case and the phone yet. I just wipe off the dust if it's been in my pocket for a day.

Very easy. Doesn't make the phone that much larger and the rubber is not SUPER grippy.

Our product group is looking into the possibility to make our car kit and desktop cradle also work with Innocase active.

Update: Amazon is now shipping earlier than expected! Shipping June 15th instead of July 1st I believe.

Update: Seidio is looking into making the Innocase Active work with their Car Dock and Multimedia Player! This is going to be the best case ever.

Our product group is looking into the possibility to make our car kit and desktop cradle also work with Innocase active.

i hate cases but i'm tempted to order this one. my only fear is the grit and grime accumulating under the case. those sides on the front look awfully pliable/loose where grit could get back in there easy. i want no maintenance - i don't want to be cleaning this thing out all the time and i don't want the grit marring my phone.

Yes the parts of the silicon which do not contact the 6 clamps of the exoskeleton are a bit loose. However the phone with this case has been in my pocket for 3 days without any grime accumulating. The rubbery silicon hugs the phone just hard enough to provide a slight seal to keep the dust out.

Looks great just ordered mine. I was really hesitant to because I like the phones bare. But the slick sides of the phone make me feel as though I'm going to drop it. Rubber is definitely the way to go. 17th for me. I'll definitely come back after a week or so of use to give some feedback.

Oh wow, I'm sure more choices will make a lot of people happy. Black-on-black isn't the most visually appealing to some people. And I think some people are expecting more colors for the Active Limited Edition, since there are so many colors for the Innocase II Surface. Although no one has spoken up yet that they want more than black.

Can I have a car kit that would work with the Seidio Innocase II????

I want to just be able to take my Evo off the belt clip of my Seidio Innocase II and clip the phone into a car dock that has basically the same kind of clip as the belt clip.

I don't really like that active case as I need to replace my battery and that looks like just more to remove and I NEED a belt clip.

Please make a car dock that works with my current case PLEASE!!!!

Haha as you suspect, the currently planned car dock should already work with the slimmer Innocase II Surface. What they want to do is to engineer it to work with both the Surface and the Active.

It looks like a nice case but personally I would like to see a case with individual cut outs for speaker, camera and camera LED. I don't feel the one big cut out offers enough protection.

Maybe the rugged case will have individual cut outs on the back??

That would be nice. Also if you offered the two pieces separate so you can change out the hard part with different colors. I would like a different color but I already ordered so the option to switch would be cool.

The parts that will NOT cover the camera/speaker/flash are just two small 3mm strips. I don't think they'll provide that much protection.

Haha personally I think a bright vibrant exoskeleton on the black rubber silicon would look sooo slick.
