It's just with carrying it in your pocket with screen towards your body a pair of thin pants doesn't off much protection I realized this when going through a turnstile the other day the bar hit right on the camera area no damage but if I was in a rush and went through that turnstile a little faster and harder it may of cracked lens. I believe Otterbox makes there defender this way with hard clear plastic covering lens. So maybe I will just hold out for Otterbox or see what the Seidio rugged is like.

Even though they bumped up the delivery date, I don't have my phone yet so there is no benefit. Still nice though.

If I knew Option 2 would soon be available, I would purchase the black on black now and buy a color skeleton when available.
it's fine with me. i don't need a complete covering. i like the fact that it recesses the camera lens and flash so they are not flush with the back anymore. that's really what i was looking for.
why can't they make these cases to fit really tight? I'd like a case that needs to be streched a little so it fits tight. until then no case for me.

Interesting proposal. But undoubtedly that would degrade the images from the camera, and people would be complaining about that to no end. How do you know that Seidio is coming out with a rugged? I don't see anything like that on their site.
Well, Seidio has been reading this thread so maybe they'll take your suggestions into account. But if you think about it, it seems like any smaller opening for the flash would decrease its effectiveness, and might even interfere with the camera (if its wide angle) I'm sure they had to make an engineering and design decision when looking at that opening.

Well if noone has done it before, then that must be because it adds wear and tear to the case, resulting in more maintenance and lower lifespan.

haha well it's more of an issue of longer life + looser fit or shorter life + tight fit. Maybe you can let us know why you want such a tight case? Is it to keep dust out or because you're afraid the phone might slip out.
So looking at Otterbox defender and it seems they have plugs that you can pull out to access any port. I like that idea of having a cover on your camera like a real camera does.

absolutely please offer the innocase active in more colors.
we should have the option to any colow activs case and then be able to choose any color active exoskeleton. The more customization the better. Also it would be awesome to the color combos of the case and exoskeleton on your webpage.. Also I can't wait for your car kit to come out. I'm hoping it comes out before july 1 st. Going on a long road trip need a good car windshield mount.

Hi Seidio -- I am very interested in your Car Mounts. Please make sure to include a ball joint for more mobility and movement of the phone inside of the mount. The phone has a great navigation app that i'm sure we would all love to see mounted beautifully in your mount.

Seidio's website lists a ball joint in the specs. Also, seidio has said publicly that the Evo's car dock will closely resemble the Moto Droid's dock Innotraveler Car Kit
I just hope that the car dock allows the Evo's camera to have a good view of the road. You guys seen Wikitude Drive? http://www.wikitude.org/drive-2
