Thanks. I am bummed. But I actually talked with a few people who weren't in the past couple of days. Apparently, they have Verizon and they don't get good coverage in our offices and have to step outside every time (not something I want to do every time), so it seems it IS a VZW issue.sorry to hear the maxx didnt work out its definitly not three seperate phones so its got to be poor coverage by verizon . does the maxx work ok everywhere else ? if it does great everywhere but your office you might try a network extender for your office and still get the good data everywhere else . but of course thats even more money .
Too bad, I've liked the Rezound AND the Maxx...but it's not meant to be. I feel bad that I have to go to a 6-month old phone (in today's tech world, that's ancient!), but I guess I'll switch to Photon. I have no idea how that phone works....meaning, whether it's a solid phone or not, but my alternative Android for Sprint is the GSII, which I owned, which sucked (the radio/anetnna)...so, either I give up Androids altogether (I don't want to!), or see how the Photon works.
With all my exchanges, I swear, I think I've paid for a full phone by now. Ridiculous.
As far as the network extender...we're not allowed because I work in a hospital environment and that might interfere with medical equipment, which is obvs way more important than phone reception.
Oh, and no...the Maxx has had the WORST call quality, compared with the Rezound, but I do believe that's due to reception, not the phone itself. It seems to not hold on to reception that well, while the Rezound was very good at it.
Oh, well.:-\
