rollback possible?

After my note 4 automatically updated without prompt, to lollipop, it's been running incredibly sluggish, apps keep freezing scrolling on websites is glitchy and delayed, text box continues to overlap apps when the text box isn't required, and pop up chat messages from whatsapp no longer works, please say there's a way to go back to kitkat that doesn't mean rooting the phone :/ awful update, awful new system.

There isn't without root unfortunately -- I would try factory resetting your phone and that may solve your issues.

Ok, I'll give reset a go, but if it still persists, seems I'll have to root, unless an update is on the way soon?
