[ROM] [04.19.11] BAMF Remix 1.5 - New base RUU plus more! *UPDATE*

You can do the radio in hboot after you flash the rom in cwr.

If you use set cpu, then go to applications settings and clear data for set cpu after you flash the rom and the radio, then have setcpu autodetect the new frequencies.

One other question...will this wipe the data on my phone like flashing a ROM would? I've been running BAMF for a few days now on the stock radio and don't want to mess up a good thing. Thanks in advance.

Flashing the radio in hboot won't erase your data.

Same thing with clearing the data in applications settings for set cpu, that just erases the program set cpu's data.

What if we have the stock radio? I flashed it and deleted the updated radio by accident lol long story. The rom seems to be running fine, quad scores are high and the battery life is excellent. What's the downside of not having the updated radio?

You can use the stock radio it wont hurt. The new is supposedly optimized but some phones are experiencing issues with it.

It bounced in and out of coverage for me.
I tried it all three ways, new LTE and CDMA, new LTE old CDMA and old LTE new CDMA...

I just more bars more consistently with the stock radios.
It also seemed to eat up battery a bit more, as well.

I'm really enjoying this ROM so far, but one thing is a bit concerning to me. I have been off the charger for about 6 hours, and I have almost 2 hrs of Partial Wake Usage for Android System. I never saw this with stock, and I'm a bit concerned that it's eating my battery as I'm at 64% after 6 hours with very light usage.

Is this a normal behavior, or is there something I can do to cut down on the partial wake usage for Android System?

I'm having the same issue and after reading through this entire thread I see no one has answered your question yet. Can someone please help with this. I too am very pleased with this rom and would like to know what if anything can be done about this. My battery is draining faster than stock.

Have you guys downloaded and setup SetCPU?
What Kernal are you using?

Now that you're rooted, have you charged it full, went into clockwork recovery and deleted the battery stat? Reboot than charge full again?

Thinking about doing a battery wipe on my phone.

It just resets your battery data...good idea after a full charge once in a while.
Helps your phone get a "truer" reading of the battery life.

Yea my phone is still pretty new, I rooted it only a few days after getting it, but the concept makes a lot of sense and seems like a cool little tweak to help battery and get more accurate readings.

Thanks, I'm trying the app 'Battery Calibration' now.

The guy that developed battery calibration app recommends wiping at 100% charge after every rom flash. i forget sometimes tho and actually haven't ever noticed any real difference in battery life/estimates anyway.

If you go to the xda developers website and you see this rom, he has 4 screenshots of it, see the screenshot to the left side that wallpaper that says FORTY EIGHT CHARGING

Where do I get that wallpaper?

anyone else having problems with their phone freezing in the morning after a full charge? i unplug the phone and the homekey lights are on but the phone is frozen and i need to take the battery out...this happens every other day or so....

Voice Recognition

Remix is really working great for me so far on the new radio. Only weirdness outside of my next note is when I boot up fresh with a new battery the phone struggles to hook onto 3G (no LTE here).

My question though is I can't get the speech to text to work (aka trying to voice dictate a text in the car). The mic icon comes up but it never registers as hearing me.

I frequently use a bluetooth headset but with it on or off it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
