[ROM] [04.19.11] BAMF Remix 1.5 - New base RUU plus more! *UPDATE*

yea i made a back up but i dont have rom manager or clockwork on this new rom...so im stuck...is there another way to reboot into recovery without the apps?

Boot straight into CWR, I believe BAMF has this option. Press power button. Select restart now hit recovery.
Now in the CWR menu hit backup and restore

If that doesn't work just power off. Now press Volume down + power until the phone turns on. Now you'll be in HBOOT, simply select recovery and press power. Now you will be in Recovery.
NOTE:::: If booting into Hboot make sure that the pg05img.zip file is off your SD card (the file that was used to root and unroot). Even if you used the auto root method I think this is still on the sd card (not in any folders).

ok so far that has worked..im recovering back to perfect storm which i had before..we'll see wha happens..thanks for your help

ok im back on perfect storm...now once i download rom manager and everything else i had can i recover any apps i backed up or i have to download those gain

If you're talking about once you flash to the new ROM and then recovering the apps you had on Perfect storm you need to---

You need to download titanium backup or my backup for root. With one of these programs you can backup your apps+data associated with those app. In the new rom you simply download titanium backup/my backup and restore your apps.

What if you don't take the PG05img.zip off your sd card? I flashed between roms a few times, while having that on there and also updated things via hboot like the radio and stuff. Didn't know it wasn't suppose to be there. Should I just sync and delete that from my sd when I get a chance?

You should delete it. Look at what happens if you don't. Either sync with your computer and delete it or use a program like Super Manager (enable root privileges in settings) or Root Explore to delete straight from your phone.

Took it off anyway, just to be safe.

I used root explorer. I have a question, just out of curiosity...Can you move boot images from one rom and extract them to another rom and change that rom's boot image? jw if this is possible, since you can do it with kernals and whatnot.

Stuckhereforever is correct. You'll need to search and find an app called SetCPU. You can configure it a bunch of different ways. Let me know if you need help. I have about 5 profiles set for the phone to do different things based on certain priorities.

Now the LeanKernel will do some things already on its own. Its already set to run at 1.4GHz but using less voltage. However... I like SetCPU's ability to underclock the core when the screen is off, if battery gets too hot, etc...

Thanks for all the users on here answering questions. You guys have been very helpful. Two questions:
1. LeanKernel already overclocks and undervolts the phone right? So I don't really need SetCPU right?
2. BAMF is described as debloated.. what does that mean exactly? I still see the Blockbuster app on my phone currently.
and 3. How do you see running processes? They don't show up in the pull-down menu anymore.

Ya you can change boot images and sounds. I'm not too sure how exactly. Also in some roms it might be stored in a different place.

This thread might help-

Is it possible to flash the new radio after installing the ROM?

The reason i ask is because i wasn't aware at the time that the radio needed to be flashed first via hboot. I had been trying to do it via CWR, but i kept getting an error message that stated install was aborted. I figured that maybe i had a corrupted download, so i went ahead and flashed the ROM, thinking that i'd troubleshoot the problem with the radio afterwards. It was then that i found out what was what.

You can do the radio in hboot after you flash the rom in cwr.

If you use set cpu, then go to applications settings and clear data for set cpu after you flash the rom and the radio, then have setcpu autodetect the new frequencies.
