Scrosler: As you know I installed this ROM earlier today. Well, since then it's started snowing here in MA. When can I expect a bug fix?

All is going well. I'm expecting 13 hours per charge with 4G/Wifi and sync on, auto screen brightness.

Wow thats pretty good.

I have mixed feelings though...

I think it would be better because the OS is better... BUt I guess I just wasnt expecting to see better battery right away.

I seem to be having a issue. For some reason I don't have root access. I have already cleared data from Superuser (it didn't give me the option to clear cache) I try to use root explorer but it just hangs there. I get a popup stating its having trouble gaining root access due to issues with Superuser. It also says to make sure to respond correctly with Superuser privilege. The problem is I that Superuser isn't coming up with the usual accept or reject.

Now I already know that accept reject or opposite on this rom. I have already redownloaded thinking I had a bad install or download. Any help on this? Thanks.

Everyone that had an issue ended up pressing the wrong button.

Maybe just try to clear all data / factory reset then reflash and give it another shot? It does work, I can tell you that

Random question though -- does Beats still work with this ROM? I know it's dumb to care about that, but I have found that I enjoy the extra little oomph that you get with Beats Enabled.

started listening to music via the stock app, the beats notification showed up in the title bar properly, but it didn't sound like beats was on. Toggling beats via the title bar didn't do anything, so I went into the music played and toggled it on/off a couple of times, and then it kicked in.

Toggle via the title bar still doesn't seem to work. You need to be in the music player (with the screen that shows the song playing and it's appropriate album art) then hit (menu > sound enhancer) in order to toggle it.

I found the same. DSP Manager still works just fine though.

On a side note, these ROMs are going to whip everything out there when we get source.

I've passed the 13 hour mark everyone... still have 40% battery. Currently listening to music and texting, wifi + data + sync are still on. Occasionally I pop on Tiny Tower and stock my businesses haha.

Hey Scott,

Didn't want to pollute the threads anymore than they are, but wanted to ask a quick question. I installed this ROM last night and everything went pretty well until it rebooted after flashing the boot.img and got stuck on the 4G LTE screen for over ten minutes, so I pulled the battery and rebooted about 4-5 more times before it actually booted into the O/S...

When the O/S first came up it stated that the UI had stopped however I was able to get past that and continue through the automated set up. It did auto reboot the first time half way through the auto setup process, but got through it the second time around... My concerns now are that it won't reload my contacts after setting up my google account and syncing multiple times, also the 4G service doesn't seem to work properly.

I followed all your instructions and the only conclusion I can come to is that I flashed using the AmonRA recovery. I read a post stating that the ROM may not work correctly with this recovery tool?

In post #2 of this thread he details that a couple of those are known bugs already, namely the auto-setup and the FC of the UI.

When it comes to your contact sync issue, if you use your computer to log into your gmail account, on the left side above the "compose" button there is a drop down menu that says "Mail". Click this, then select contacts. Confirm that your contacts are sync'd to your gmail account.

After that, go to the phone and open the contacts app. Check the following:

Menu > Contacts to Display > All Contacts
Menu > Accounts > Ensure that your gmail is listed and sync is turned on, and contact sync is enabled.

Hmmm... Checked my contacts in gmail, not much there. After unlocking the bootloader and reconfiguring my phone I had no trouble re-syncing my contacts? They must have been stored locally?

Also, I have no internet connection unless connected to wifi and the notification bar does not tell you if you have 4G or 3G service...

If this has been covered before too I apologize. I have read through all the posts, its just hard to keep it all straight

Sounds like your contacts may have been sync'd primarily to Verizon. The VZW Backup app isn't on this ROM, so that could explain the lack of contacts. Are those contacts that you saw in gmail sync'd to your phone currently?

Some others I believe initially had data issues after flashing the ROM. On your home screen try the following:

Menu > System Settings > Data Usage. Make sure mobile data is on.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something? I've unlocked the phone, done the Clean Flash and booted into recovery but it's not pulling up anything to flash the rom. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright Scott, I've got a decent one. Camera and Camcorder apps do not work.

Camcorder: Was attempting to film my niece and nephew in the snow, recorded about 19 seconds and then app closed without notification, and no video file was saved.

Camera: Attempted to use the "action burst" setting to take a photo, this produced literally a BSOD after the phone attempted to process the photos. Phone restarted on it's own, but still did not work properly. Had to do a battery pull to get it back.

EDIT: Tried a few times, haven't been able to duplicate.

I placed the zip file on the memory card. Reset the device. Then booted into the fastboot and chose "Recovery". I looked like it was looking for something - but then just showed a phone with a red triangle and exclamation point....What am I doing wrong? I have an unlocked bootloader.
