Hehehhe, atleast with a kernel you dont have to re-setup all your apps!

I installed the no flash kernel it says you can adjust the led brightness but I don't see where.

I believe they come pre-adjusted to a lower settings. But he also modified the min and max brightness for the LCD panel. Nott 100% on that one.

Installed 1.3 just a few minutes ago. I cleared cache and what not, but did not do a complete wipe. Figured I'd give it a try. So far everything looks good. There may only be 1 issue. Has anyone else tried this with 4G yet? I didn't try 4G right before flashing to verify coverage where I am at however I usually do have coverage here. (Not great)

When I enable 4G it turns on, it says disconnected, and the scan for service option is disabled. Not sure why, or what is up with it. I'll try it when I leave the home here in 10 minutes where I'm going and see if it's still the same.

Just thought I'd ask if anyone else has issues with 4G after flashing this. (Flashed from factory) If It still doesn't work, might do a factory wipe and try again. I DID make a nadroid backup if the WiMax partition last week

Did you see the new no lights kernel? Reduces the brightness of the capacitive buttons tremendously. Also keeps the notification led blinking indefinitely until you acknowledge the notification. This is an override from the default 5minutes.

No problem here. Wimax is working the same as usual.

No, there should be no 4G issues. I may just try a battery pull before full wipe. But a full wipe wont hurt :-X

cool. will download and flash it. as an fyi...everything still working without issues - at least haven't found any yet. it must have been an app that was affecting me. i got rid of a bunch that i don't use.

I will have to give it a full 48 hours but so far it looks to me that silverneedle gives better battery life with better performance.

Well where I am now scan for networks is working. Says connecting to sprint then disconnects. Of course this is what happened last time I tried it here. So I guess all is normal. I am going to keep using it as is. I might still wipe and flash later... I just wanted to see what would happen if I didn't wipe it first. So far I like it.

Excellent rom awesome tweaks, runs smooth......
just a suggestion for next time can you add Titanium or say any file handler like Astro in the install??
That way, when one person is done flashing, does not have to wait for
market to download titanium to be able to start restore....
in my case, it is always an issue because by the time i get titanium almost
all of the apps are already installed...
and again, it is just a suggestion...

i know. it has a mind of it's own! starting to piss me off that i seem to be the only one running into the nav issue. i installed the sprint telenav and it works perfectly with no issues. i guess i can use it until version 1.4 comes out and cross my fingers that all works properly.

on a separate note. it's monday and i tried adding your "cleanrom" signature with no luck. how do i add it to my signature?

That's good. I thought I was loosing my mind. As an fyi...everything outside of the nav is working great. i flashed the nolights kernal and will see how it goes. going to leave the phone alone for a couple days....if I can....
