I posted Android Market version 2.3.6 in the OP for those that want to revert. Yousimply place on SD card and install using ES File Explorer. Select yes to overwrite system file.

I pulled out of the Epic 4G touch system dump so I assume its a pretty recent version.

Since I updated to 2.5 I am not able to connect to my car kit via Bluetooth. Anyone else having this issue??

I have ROM Manager with ClockworkMod 5.0.2.0. Can I flash this ROM using that instead of Custom Recovery?

Yes, that is a custom recovery.

Thanks for the quick response! What I really meat was the TeamWin Recovery. I had that one until I switched to using the ROM Manager app. Thanks for your hard work. I'm loving your ROM the best out of the few I have tried.

Do you have any links that explain what / how these mods work in a little more detail? Of if you don't mind explaining them (if you haven't already) i would appreciate it! Sorry if you've linked or mentioned these in detail somewhere else and i missed it.

I had the 2.3 version and had great battery life, but since I updated to 2.5 (yesterday) my battery has been terrible Awesome ROM though! Thanks...just bad battery :/

Me as a user, 2.5 is a little better not worse. I think you have something else going on. Personally, I find location as being my worst culprit (giving me bad reception /battery life).

I can do that... Not until later... But I will try to give a QUICK rundown of what I can think of off the top of my head....

Kernel: Look at the front capacitive led buttons. They are now like 1/4 the brightness.

Front camera was limited by software to 1.3 mega pixels and a software change unleashed that. As well, I am willing to bet someone could be working on full 1080P on the rear camera because the specs are more than enough to allow it.

I dont know or understand HDR enough to explain it but you can google HDR and it will explain better but basically the camera takes two pics in rapid succession and makes them into one pic for the best results. I think...

I will get you citations later or someone else can come in and explain better than me.

Something is wrong then. You shoudl not, as everyone else as, a minor improvement in battery. Did you wipe fresh and reinstall? Can you tell me what is using your battery by going to settings -> About phone -> What is Using Battery?

I have read on the interwebs that the camera restrictions were part of stock android, not necessarily the manufacturer limiting them. Custom ROMs are able to allow it.
