[ROM][4.1.1][AOSP] JellyButt-v2.4 - JRO03L [8/25/12]

Re: [ROM][4.1.1][AOSP] JellyBean-v2.0 - JRO03L [8/9/12]

Running the latest version of this with airkernel, and I'm really loving how responsive it is. I'll post when I have more info on battery life and whatnot. But so far, MUCH better than ICS was even. Thanks for the great job you guys have done, and the time spent doing this!

Still can't sync Google plus photos
This is the only ROM that this happens on.

Take a look at this post, I think this is what you're looking for.

Wait a minute that link was wrong hold on.

Well ill just paste the post here,

I assume you are not referring to images actually stored on the internal sdcard, but images from google+ and the like. As I understand it, this is a jellybean issue. Burnsras cmX has it fixed, but you loose the cm camera for the stock one. Perhaps jstntp knows how to repo that fix into his build, though I don't LOL.

If you mean pictures that are on your sdcard, I still have access to all my images from GB to ICS and now JB and let me tell you that is quite a few and haven't lost any, so I can't help you there.

Edit: this for a 4.1.1 gapps package that burnsra posted to fix the sync with picasa.

The issue I have is that I have Google photos checked but my G+/picasa photos will not show up in the stock android gallery. How do I fix this? And why is it only my device having this issue?

It is likely not just you, but I for one never used this feature. But the gapps package above should fix your issue. Just boot to recovery, wipe dalvik/cache and flash the gapps package. If that doesn't work, you might have to apply from a clean install.

Edit: I just flashed it and now my google+ instant uploads are found in my gallery. This is a valid fix for this issue.

hey guys, when you say tethering works, do you mean wifi tether on 4g?

I personally have no way to test 4g tethering but I'm pretty sure I've seen someone post that it does work. 3g tethering works for sure though.

If it's working on 3g then it works on 4g.

Tethering will run on 3G or 4G. Whatever data connection you run is the same for tethering to other devices. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This was posted by Paul627g a couple pages back . Might help with lag .

To those having lag issues... This isn't a perma fix but more like a weekly house cleaning or chore sorta speak...

Whenever I start getting lag within my device regardless of the ROM/kernel, etc. that usually signals to me its time for a little cleaning... What do I do?

Boot into CWM/TWRP and wipe dalvik cache & cache partition. It clears things out, when you reboot things seem to run quicker and smoother for days until the next wave of lag comes thru... Its a pain in the ass but for the few minutes it takes every couple days or week its worth it.

The source of all this lag? I don't believe its ROM or kernel related, more specific to each users use of their device.. Launcher, back ground processes, widgets, email/social media polling, various apps running.. We all have different views on what we consider light/medium/heavy usage and setups so its very hard to pin point the source of lag in most situations.

Hope this helps

Make sure you have performed a complete wipe in recovery before flashing.

I am sure they are asking cause some of the other JB builds only 3G tether works and not 4G. I also cannot lest 4G as it is 4 hours to find the nearest WiMAX tower.
