[ROM][4.19.2011] Das BAMF 1.5

Great ROM so far even though its stock kernel. Flashed 1.1 this weekend and 1.2 today and my phone is moving very nicely. Thanks for this.

For anyone that has 1.1 and upgrading to 1.2-Do not wipe just flash in recovery.

I think I'll stick with version 1.1 for now. Its working great with no FC or hiccups. Don't want to risk the 1.2 update til the wipe problem is fixed.

On a side note battery life has been great. I did use SETcpu but I'm at 39% with 15 hrs uptime and 2:30 awake time. Thanks Adrenlyne for the ROM and Kernel!

first post updated with important info. Please review.

Hint: its in red :p

I was not planning on flashing another rom tonight but now I have to.

Is your "important info" referring to a feature or just making sure we don't wipe.

What worked for me was to do a factory data wipe / cache wipe. Then install 1.1. Boot up the phone. Then restart back in CWM and install 1.2 without wiping anything.

After some intense worrying this worked. Certainly learned a few things. Thank you.

I tried installing the Kernel via hboot but I'm not sure it took. Is there anyway to verify the installation? According to the "Software Information" my Kernel version is 2.6.32.21.

Thanks.

For some reason the personalize button right next to the phone button on the touch screen. I can still get to it via menu -> settings -> personalize.

Read the OP. There is a launcherkey apk that allows you to remap that button to any app, system function, or a launch window with 8 shortcuts since it is a redundant function as you stated.

flashed 1.2.1 and after some small initial trouble, got it installed and am now running the overclocked kernel.

if Keith stone had a phone this would be it. its so smooth.

I am currently having no problems running this ROM. Initially I was having some video playback problems with YouTube but a normal restart fixed that. I also had to uninstall and reinstall ROM Manager because the backup copy install from MyBackUp Pro resulted in some of the apps functions not working.

Also before the restart that fixed the YouTube app I had a couple of GPS outages. Blips mind you..nothing sustained. But since the restart I have not noticed any problems with the GPS.

Bluetooth has been working perfectly from the start.

I have yet to really settle into using the phone with this ROM, so there may be other problems lurking but so far so good.

Thank you once again to the developer.

Ok, did not know that that was for this haha. Thank you, got it working now!

Question: What are the main changes between 1.2 & 1.2.1 ?

Is this it?

1.2.1
No acc battery or transparency in status pulldown
--ThatDudeButch

OR... Are these included too in the 1.2.1? Just wondering whether or not to do the 1.2.1 update... Thanks!

Reason i ask, is because i like the accurate battery widget and transparency... LOL.

Changes since 1.1:
--Transparent pulldown and location reticle deleted
--Modded launcher to include 5 app/transparent app drawer, and most importantly remapped the right "personalize" button to Launchkey app, which will allow you to assign any app or a menu with up to 8 functions to it.
--Deleted am/pm in status bar clock and carrier in pulldown
--Added custom circle accurate battery and custom super quick transition animations
--Added Spare Parts to speed up animations even more (change animation speed options to fast for best perfomance)
--SDK version changed to HoneyComb (10) in Build.prop for additional features/compatibility in some apps from market
--Basic file manager.
--resolv.conf to resolve FQDN.

Wonderful, just wonderful. Awesome job; I can't wait for more! Also for those that are wondering why there clock doesn't look the same, you have to change your HTC Theme to "Dusk."

No matter what I try my visual voice mail wont work, i keep getting reinstall vvm but htc sense has a vvm app and the verizon app wont install with the htc app installed, dunno what to do.

Did you install the visual voice mail patch included in the OP?

Is anyone else having trouble getting flash to work with the web browser? I even downloaded it from the market.

hmm...this is the second time I've gone in and flash was uninstalled. Redownloaded Flash 10.2 from the market and it's working fine on das BAMF 1.2 w/1.9 kernel
