How long did you give it to boot? Do you still have the 1.1 version on your sd card. And you don't have to wipe data everytime between roms. Usually only if you run into problems.

I just went back and installed 1.1 again and its working now. No idea why 1.2 would not work or boot up?

Just did this and it worked perfectly. Took a couple minutes like you said to boot up, but I think it's working now!

had the same problem as linxsux, however, after installing the 1.1 zip the same thing is happening (stuck on boot screen.) i've tried flashing the kernel and installing the rom again, but no luck. i'm out of ideas. can anyone suggest what to try next?

I have a lot of apps loaded and configured and was curious if all ROM's force you to wipe.

You shouldn't need to wipe. If you get any funny business with force closes or it sticking on the boot animation for more than 10 min, then you may need a data wipe/factory reset. Usually you can get by with just choosing "wipe cache" under the main menu and "wipe dalvik cache" under advanced. Neither of which will delete your apps or data.

I did a clean install on 1.2 and got to the boot screen but it never loaded. Thank goodness I did a backup with ROM Manager so I just reloaded with Perfect Storm.

Make sure you guys give it like 5 minutes before you do anything. And actually wait 5 minutes (which is a long time in TB time haha)

i had the same problem. wiped data and cache in clockwork mod and installed 1.1 again. installed 1.2 without wiping and it booted up like a well oiled machine.

Mac root works greatt!, waiting for some more roms to come out, although I have no experience with this, manual root gave me some knowledge and I want to just keep learnin!!

First time. I rooted, no problem. Got Rom manager and attempted to install this rom Via the recovery mode. I chose wipe data/factory reset and it did so. Then I was kinda lost. So I chose install zip from sdcard and found the rom and installed. It installed then nothing. I chose reboot system now and it did. Then it reached the thunder screen it thunders...then just hangs there. It won't boot. I battery pulled about five times and tried to repeat the steps but now I cannot get any farther than the effin thunder screen.

Any suggestions?

What worked for me was to do a factory data wipe / cache wipe. Then install 1.1. Boot up the phone. Then restart back in CWM and install 1.2 without wiping anything.

It doesn't do anything like that. When you use uber_quadrant, it makes the area the app uses to test IO a tmpfs (which makes it a RAM drive) ... hence why it boosts only the IO score.

It's just a cheat for some fun.
