Like I said, I originally didn't want to post it since it came from XDA. I haven't had my hand slapped yet , but I figured people need it...

Email signature

This has been my first custom ROM and so far I'm loving it. The only issue I have so far is that I haven't been able to change the signature in the default email app to anything other than "Sent from Samsung mobile". Is this a universal proplem or something only I have?

You should be able to go into the email account settings, select the signature tab, delete what is there and then type in what you want and click OK?

I did that, but when I compose a message the original sig is still there. Going back into settings still shows the custom signature, even after a reboot.

Does anyone know if wifi tethering is working in this ROM and if so does it report back to big red?

+1 I would like know this as well. Also where can I find a CwM3.0 compatible wireless tether?

Still no dice. I'll try a few different permutations of disabling, deleting, and rebooting and see what I can come up with.

I don't know why you're not getting it. When I click on new message I have a screen that has the to: box, the type to compose box, the keyboard below the type to compose box, and below the to: box I have three greay shaded clickable boxes from left to right - Recent, Contacts, Group. Can anyone else help out and let us know what you see when you click on "new message" in the stock sms program?

My mistake. I think the sms program I had carried over from ED01 debloated/deodexed because now that I know for sure I am running a clean, fresh install of KangBang, I don't have those options under the to: box either in the included sms program. Fortunately I use handcent which includes that ability to easily list multiple recipients of the text.

I can't get hulu to play vids right now either. Wondering the same thing too - been asked a few times, but no one has answered that I know of yet. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

Figured I'd bump this for you - been about 12 hours and a few pages. Hope that's exercising enough patience.

i reflashed comm rom final.. updated com rom 1.2 , flash player worked...after i installed all my market place apps... it quit working again... im thinking it might be one of the apps i install is "interfering" with the flash player.... im going to try again and check flash in between every app install to see if i can find the culprit.... using Handcent, WinAmp, Audible, Chrome to Phone, Color Note, Mort Player, TiKL, Weather Bug...
probly wont get to this till real late or even tomorrow afternoon ,, i will post back if i notice anything

I feel like I searched this and found no help so if I missed it just give me a post number and I will look it up myself.
The ROM is working great no issues to report at all after 2 full days until today when I knew I had some stuff coming to my GMail which is the primary on my phone. I never got a status bar notification and when I opened the GMail app I had to tell it to refresh and then I had all kinds of email. This particular feature worked fine on SC 2.9.2. In GMail settings I have the email notification box checked, no ringtone or vibrate, and the notify once box unchecked. What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks.

Flash 10.2 doesn't work with Hulu. (will say your platform isn't supported.) 10.1 works.

There was always that hulu zip that we used with superclean to be able to get flash to work with hulu. Anyone know if this would work if I flashed it on Comm Romm 1.2 - just curious? My flash may be working, but I always check with hulu, so I'm not sure.

Flash 10.2 doesn't work with Hulu. (will say your platform isn't supported.) 10.1 works.

Titanium shows I'm running flash 10.1, but I can't get it to work. Any other place to check to see what version (if any) I have. If I end up not having a version of flash installed (nothing is showing up in my market), then could I just find the install for version 10.1 and run it?

P.S. - if someone has the older version that I could install - could you post it? Thanks.
