Was already on CommRom so I just wiped Cache/Dalvik. DL and flashed fine. Phone finally rebooted and am getting FC's on LauncherPro....Any suggestions?

I'd try reinstalling LP first. If that doesn't work, like Landshark said, if issues arise a data wipe might become necessary.
No good... Gonna try a full wipe and see what happens. Thanks for the help.
No problem, let us know how the full wipe works out. Also let me know if you can tell if the changes from patches 1.1 and 1.2 are included in 1.3 please. Trying to figure out if the patches will be necessary with this new version.

From Adrynalyne's pattern with Superclean, whenever he put out a full ROM after patches, the new full ROM has always included the previous patches. And just by looking at the file size of v 1.0 as compared to v 1.3, I'm pretty certain 1.3 includes the patches.
Alright, makes sense to me. Was thinking that would be the case, but I think it would be a good idea to have that information posted so everyone knows that. Like in the OP under the changelog for 1.2 it says that it includes all 1.1 updates, just think it'd be wise to put something like that under the 1.3 changelog. Is that something I could suggest to Adrynalyne? I just want to make sure things are as clear as can be for everyone as some may understand more than others.

You really need to take a look at Adrynalyne's old superclean threads to understand he does do that so there is no need to make that suggestion to him. He knows what he is doing. Considering the time he posted the link, the fact he has an exact duplicate OP over at XDA he has to update, plus creating ROMs for the Continuum and the Thunderbolt, and posting and addressing questions at I would guess 2 or 3 other forums, he may be a little tired right now and will get that info posted later.

I just updated my G/f's fascinate to v 1.3, phone was on v1.2 now it is getting stuck on samsung logo. I have tried restoring back up and that also sticks at the samsung logo. I checked file size 170mb. Install in CWM completes properly. The phone is on CWM v2.5.1.x with voodoo enabled. Any advice?.

As I go through the upgrade process I am reminded (due to my own mistake) that having a Nandroid backup and Titanium Pro backup is a wonderful thing. I didn't do anything horrible, just accidentally wiped my data when I didn't want to but fixing that was easy with the backups I had. Just a reminder from me to everyone else that taking the time to do backups before making big changes is valuable. Party on.

This is good timing I was experiencing some issues (unable to reboot and sound issues on a call) after lots of tweaks on comm rom 1.2 and was going to re flash eclair and do the OTA's and start over so I guess I will start with 1.3 and see how it goes. It looks like I have have a project for the next couple hours.

For those having LP problems, Did you change your default home screen back to TW before flashing? Thats what I did and have not had any FC's. After first boot make LP your default again. I have rebooted twice just to check and no FC's.
Not complaining.. but is there any easy way to kill the shutdown sound. I really don't like VZW jingles

I just rebooted for the first time and thought the same thing!
Thanks Jae, never could have done it without you.
These include a sound file which I think goes good with the animation.
However, you could change it by replacing shutdown.ogg with any .ogg file of your choice in the system/media/audio/ui folder. Don't pick a file over 15 secs in length tho. I tried a 25 second one and it would loop endlessly. Be careful.

Using file expert or root explorer, go to system>medie>ui> and delete shutdown.ogg and poweroff.ogg
edited a little: system>media>audio>ui. Found the shutdown.ogg but I don't have the poweroff.ogg, but deleting took care of it.

Sorry, I have an epic an we have both for some reason. Glad it worked. I still haven't had any luck with 1.3 but it appears my g/fs fascinate is not the only one that is getting stuck at the samsung screen.

Sounds like a bad download. Just make sure you are doing your back up just in case.
my status bar is really really jacked up. 1.3 installed fine but on first boot i had no clock, rebooted again and now i have a clock but nothing else...hm......
