[ROM][6/26/12] CyanogenMod 9 - Official Nightly & RC Builds!

Re: [ROM][6/8/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

You can add toggles to the notification pull down.

How (specifically)? I looked through the settings and couldn't find it.

Thanks

I'm not running CM9 right now, so I can't give exact instructions. However, you should be able to go under where you change the settings the ROM provides. One of those items should talk about toggles.

Granted, the last time I used CM9 was the 5/25 nightly, but I wouldn't think they would remove that kind of functionality.

Were the changes approved? If not they're still not included, presumably.

I read that some parts were included already (some where on the web), but I think your right, not yet. Soon hopefully!

I am now on my second rom incorporating the linaro stuff--first was the "unofficial" CM9 compile and now is the "official" AOKP B38 version. Both fly!

How is CM9 compared to AOKP B38? Top advantages vs. Top disadvantages? I'm loving AOKP, and I feel like I have no reason to change it, but as a noob I feel like I should try other things in case I do like it.

Re: [ROM][6/8/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

Changelog:
6/8/12
Updated boot animation featuring Cid! (Still in review)
Update Google sources to 4.0.4_r2.1 (IMM76L)
Lock screen weather: Simplified 'no-data' layout & refresh indicator
Add option to enable notification counts
Founded Team Keyblade with housry23

Looks like the source got merged to the latest. Not sure if that will mean anything since the only issue I have was no fixed in IMM76L, but for those that had other issues that were rectified, there you go!

Most of the recent change logs show some linaro stuff getting merged. Interesting.

Re: [ROM][6/8/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

Is there an official thread to follow the CM9 Linaro progress/builds? I ask because if I give it try I'd like to have the lastest integration. I see AOKP already had multiple Linaro builds but I can only find one for CM9

Re: [ROM][6/8/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

I don't think Linaro is official, though the CM team is integrating some of their code. The only thread I know of that might be what you are referring to, here-

Linaro optimized CM9 build\ - xda-developers

I might be misunderstanding you though. There are already so many kangs of CM, it is hard to keep straight. I just load the nightlies and look at the change log :).

Re: [ROM][6/8/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

So far, I have not seen the Linaro stuff merged. I don't think it'll be coming with RC1 (which, reportedly, is soon; they stopped merges either today or yesterday), but it may crop up in the subsequent nightlies.

Re: [ROM][6/8/12] CyanogenMod Nightly Builds - OFFICIAL!

Loaded the 6/14 nightly, over the 6/12 (wiped Cache/Dalvik). It seems GPS is working better, system a bit more responsive and battery seems better...even though I have only been running for about 10 hours so far! Just an FYI.

Merge freeze has commenced, and apparently we'll be getting several release candidates over the next few weeks.

Excellent news. Looking forward to the CM9 release candidate. Hope it's available before my SGSIII arrives. ;)

I'm kinda disappointed they're mostly done adding features then.. AOKP has more, and more useful features imo. Don't get me wrong I'll still flash it for fun and something different and all but aokp will easily remain my daily driver.

Eh just my $.02 :)

finally stopped being lazy, and jumped on cm9 by flashing the most recent nightly. having an odd issue though. everytime i reboot the phone, the mac address changes. really irritating issue, considering i use mac filtering on my router. suggestions?

Try a different kernel. I'm 95% sure this was fixed in francos and other popular kernels, but may not have been in CM9s yet.

Updated with today's builds; still no stable, was sort of hoping they'd be out by now.
