[ROM Alert] Cyanogen Mod 7 Nightly updates are now available

Try this backup your Cyanogen ROM then flash or restore a Sense ROM just for a short time to test 3G make sure you are getting a lock. While you are at it test your GPS I would bet its not working right now ether. When everything is working properly restore your CyanogenROM you backed up. There is something that gets Fubarbed from time to time when you are flashing Cyanogen ROMs it has happened to me. Flashing a sense ROM making sure everything works then restoring has always fixed it for me.

My GPS actually gets a good lock. I tried doin this once with one of the nightly builds but I'm gonna give it another shot tomorrow. Will let u all know how it turns out. For now, I'm gonna bottle up my frustration and head to bed. My day starts at 2 a.m. tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

CM hates my shift. I've tried the three most recent versions and on all of them i get stuck in a boot loop. I'm waiting for a stable rather than nightly.

Anyone else having any issues with 3g? I never have issues with my 3g signal at my house but i cant seem to get a 3g connection since flashing cm7... just curious

Hey, I'm brandy-new here, and to Android in general, but I've been lurking and learning since I got my Shift just over a month ago after my Pre- power button crapped out.

I'm having the same exact problem. I flashed CM7 nightly 32 (the first rom I've flashed), and my phone won't connect to 3G at all anymore. I tried the solutions in this thread (flashed the MikShift Sense rom and 3G connected right away, so I updated profile & prl, then restored my cm7 backup), but nothing seems to have worked. I'd love to keep running CM7 but this is kind of a deal breaker if I can't get 3G working.

Been running the RC for a couple of days now, and I'm thrilled with it.

I've yet to run into any major issues.

I still can't get gps or mms working. I've tried getting a lock on a sense ROM then flashing cm7 and still no luck. I can send mms but it won't download when I receive it. Other than that it seems to be running pretty smooth

Edit: Got GPS working.. finally!
