So...once again I'm back to AOKP. Flashed it, then superuser, then gapps, and now play store works and got titanium backup to restore all my apps. I heart radio works for those that want a working radio app. Still don't have service so can't check 3g yet...but I plan on using it as a daily for a while...can't wait till camera works. Also, what happened to the stock music player? Is it just gone in ICS? Can anyone suggest a simple music app...just something that I can shuffle all songs...similar to tye stock one?

Try the Google Play Music app, it works great with ICS

It is the first page of this thread. Notice there are two different alpha 8 there though. The 2nd one is much more customizable.

I think its page 235 there is a download that you need to flash to regain root access

Use the "Search this thread" (not the plain "Search") feature near the top of the page. Put in "root" and you'll find all the posts that mention those things.

But, yeah, as the other poster said, it's on page 235.

Anyone around me after I eat soy protein. I'm vegetarian and boy do they smell, but they still make me laugh.

On a side note, I've never flashed anything other than BACKside for a daily use ROM and I'm looking forward to MMS and 3g working. I've been reading some interesting developments. Anything I can do to help/test?

This ROM is fantastic! Once all the bugs are worked out and camera is working properly this will be my daily use ROM hands down! I love it! I'm not sure if this is still an ongoing issue or not but I got the "Cannot connect to camera" error when opening the camera app and there's 2 gallerys and they seem to be screwing each other up. I noticed if I disable one of them the other starts working, unfortunately I can't tell you which was which because they're both named the same! Excellent work though. I can't wait for a final release!

Something I noticed...is there a way to only show contacts with phone numbers like in gb? I sync my facebook contacts and don't really like going through everybody on my friends list...and dont really want to go through and delete the others :-\

If you have Titanium Backup you can uninstall either Gallery app with no bad side effects.
I'm not sure about the camera app, if you are on Alpha 7 the camera should work, but no preview. You might need to wipe and flash again.
I agree with your opinion on Quattrimus, it does run very nicely on the Optimus V. Will be my daily driver as soon as the camera is fully working.
