Yes, I have GPS turned on.
I love the Bugless Beast Rom (Jelly Bean 4.1.1) for my Verizon Galaxy Nexus, but how can I keep the radio stable? My 4G radio turns itself on and off during the day about 10-15 times. Will flashing another kernel or radio help? I am using FC04/FC05 now. I am in the Jackson, MS market, which has 4G coverage. Thank you.
What makes me angry is that I bought a 4G device, but my phone stays on 3G more than 4G when Jackson is a strong 4G coverage area. I love the Galaxy Nexus except for the weak WiFi and cell reception. I hope the next Nexus is better. I like stock too much to switch phones especially since the Galaxy S3 has a locked bootloader. You have my problem. I believe it's a hardware issue. I'm on the FC04/FC05 radios. I've flashed other ROMS/kernels/radios and the problem persists. It's not bad enough to make me trade it in for one that could have the exact same problem. I've even gone so far as to turn 4G off and only put it on when I need to download something.

Yes it is on. Everything is checked in Location Services.

Hey all,
I have a stock VZW Gnex. I plan on unlocking and rooting using Wug's updated tool, and plan on installing the newest Bugless Beast ROM from (ROM - Downloads). My question is - does this include Gapps and a working radio? I can't seem to find that basic info like I do on other ROMS.... Thanks!

Does anyone know where I can find a step by step for installing this ROM correctly? I?m going to Unlock/Root my phone tonight and I want to make sure I flash it the right way. Thanks!

Bugless has the gapps included it does not have radios included, if you aren't running 4.04 look in Zero necks radio thread and you will find them, if you are running 4.04 flash Bugs and possibly the JB boot loader and you will be good to go

Right...I'm not sure why I said it had the radios included...I think I was thinking the vzw binaries...my bad!
I'm not sure if its got the JB bootloader included...I don't think so. That's on Pete's site if you need it.

You are correct Pete does have the JB boot loader on his thread on RW and I can confirm it works
Edit: the boot loader is not included in the ROM it is a separate flashable file

Yeah I flashed it back on jelly belly...not really sure of the benefits but having a jb ROM and an ICS boot loader didn't sound too good...

Hello, I am kind of stuck on something....I have this ROM, and it is in working order...like everything is setup up...but when i try to make a backup...it tells me that there is No /sdcard/ .android_secure found on external storage, so it skips that and it does the same thing to the cache, No sd-ext found...but still says backup complete.....
