[ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.5.5 [Full Open Source]

Re: [ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.2.0 [Full Open Source]

From what I've gathered, that seems like the general idea. But where do I find the files for the google apps? Or are they already in the file containing the rom?

Goo-inside.me Downloads - Browsing gapps

look for the file with the date 2011-15-11

copy it to your sd the same way you did the rom, boot into recovery, clear cache and clear dlavik cache and then install like ya did the rom!

Been running the latest version since release.

Two issues have been happening. Gallery stops working and closes when trying to change a contact photo and at times hitting the menu button to open the drawer to see all apps is a black screen.

Was thinking of reflashing the rom but doing a factory reset.

Thoughts? or just reflash after a device wipe?

So I can't wait until the update comes out for this rom later today :D

Install the Verizon Login Client from the Market and the problem should be solved.

when i search for "verizon login client" in the market, nothing shows up. i already tried that before i posted this.

To have zero problems, it's best to completely wipe.

Taking forever to download. 195 mb says gapps included but instructions say to flash them. Who knows.

Re: [ROM][AOSP][4.0.3] Codename Android 1.2.0 [Full Open Source]

Did factory reset, then wiped cache, then wiped dalvik, and now when I click install from sd it's just sitting on the android with a 3d shape spinning inside of it...

Edit - it also says "Back menu button disabled"....help!!!

Edit 2 - pressing the power button on any option just shows the Android....I'm stuck in clockwork recovery.

Press the volume up and volume down together at the same time and it will enable the back menu. Try reflashing the ROM again. Mine was sitting on the robot for a longer then usual time also... it eventually started the installation after a minute or so.

False alarm...just had to scroll fast and the back button enabled. I'm all good...sorry for the panic people!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get a persistent search softkey...the only option I'm seeing is to get rid of the multitask key and substitute in the search. Can we no longer have both?
