Anyone else got issue with Gmail push? My gmail was perfect until I installed 1.2.0. I am really not sure if this is 1.2.0 issue or something I broke it. My gmail push is no longer working. I have to check gmail app to get the new email. This is really annoying. Is there something I need to check?

And also it doesn't sync like it used to. I just send myself an email to gmail. Of course, i didn't get the email push. I waited like 20 min before I gave up and opened gmail app. And then I got my email on my GN. However, after i delete this test email. But I check gmail from my desktop browser, this message is not deleted. It used to sync right away and it deleted it. Can anyone help me?

BTW, I am using 1.2.0 with Go Launcher. And I am using stock gmail app, no k9.

Not sure if your using Nova Launcher but in the behavior settings there are some changes you can make for the home key. If not I'm sure a restart would fix it.

Not using any launcher, and reboot didn't help.I've been using bugless beast and had no problems. Did a full wipe when switching over. I guess I'll just restore to my BB if I can't get it fixed. Its kind of an important button.

anyone else run into the issue of your nexus no longer reading media files on your phone. ie pictures, videos and music? its driving me nuts haha and thanks to everyone who has chimed in and helped i do value and appreciate everything you post in response to me. Im sorry if i came off as a dick i was highly agitated by a multitude of things but you guys are always more then helpful and i very much appreciate it.

I can't fix the gmail push issue. So I installed latest AOKP. It seems to fix the gmail issue now. But I want Codename, I like it better. I will come back to this rom with next release.

well, my problem came back. I think it's Go Launcher was the issue. While I was with Kang rom, I got my gmail pushed. But when I loaded my Go Launcher, I don't get the push email, but other yahoo or my company works fine. I came back to Codename and uninstalled my Go Launcher, but I still got get the gmail push to work. It's very frustrating. Damn.

@all, make note on use of many 3rd party launchers and apps still not being completely ICS compliant. They may run being outdated but could have weird effects on the performance of things. I know for one Launcher Pro last I checked was way outdated and giving problems.

Yes, I posted some other problems in the AOKP thread but I got it to install earlier but had no data so I installed codename instead.

Wanted to know if someone knew how to set up the custom lock screen? I have tried to set it up several times but it never sets and it reverts back to stock.

can someone give me the rundown on each scaling governor? I want to know which one is best for battery life without sacrificing performance. I'm using the 1.2 kernel btw

anyone have issues with My Verizon app not working? it worked for me on 1.1.1 but stopped after I installed 1.2.0. This is the error I get:
"This application required the Verizon Login Client. Please download the Login Client and start the application again. Error code -305"

I uninstalled and reinstalled My Verizon but that didn't seem to help.

I flashed franko 14.4 and I just noticed they are not working again. Normal ringtones play fine but if I select an mp3 it does nothing.

I re-added them to my ringtones folder and over wrote the old ones. Weird thing is now I have 2 identical ringtones that show up under settings/sounds/ringtones but I only see one in my ringtones folder via root explorer. I did a search and only show them in that one folder. Under settings, one works and one does not. Not sure what happened. Looks like I need to wipe again I guess. I have wiped on every release. and don't restore anything related to ringtones.

From what I've gathered, that seems like the general idea. But where do I find the files for the google apps? Or are they already in the file containing the rom?

Anyone else having trouble with the GPS in navigation? Seems to work fine in maps but can't seem to findgps in turn by turn navigation
