[RoM] AOSP 4.0.3 - updated 02/11

Re: [RoM] AOSP 4.0.3 - updated 01/15

Dooderbutt V6 is awesome man. I don't think i could live without the power toggles in the notification shade. I usually prefer to stick with official releases for simplicity of updates, but if i can't have this feature in an official release, i guess i'm going to have to get used to flashing updates. Any chance it could be made into an Add on for the official release?

Keep up the good work BEEZY, and RIP old beezy PC.

Nice! Thanks Beezy! I was just wondering about dooderbutt earlier today, I'll try this out in the next few days :)

Just curious, it stills shows 4.0.3. I know you were talking about updating to 4.0.4. Just wanted to confirm if it is in v7. V6 has been awesome. Great Job!! Thanks again for all your hard work. Downloading now, either way.

Official source code from Google(aosp) has not had the full changes of 4.0.4 pushed to it. So anything built right now is really 4.0.3. I did use a few things from the leaked 4.0.4 that helped make improvements.

Thanks to flipfone for pointing this out to me. I forgot to set a goood default cpu governor,so if you use setcpu, nstools, etc set a different governor to something like lulactiveV2 or intellidemand to get better battery life I'll adjust this in near future so that you don't need a app.

Hope you guys all enjoy the v7... Beezy really did a nice job with the Reboot Mod and other little tweaks.. I helped test it out a bit during the build and its really smooth and has the right tweaks and mods for the average daily driver keeping it slim and very responsive.

Nice job Beezy & Team...

Any way to disable the original buttons? (Yeah, I know I may be asking for too much but it doesn't hurt to ask right? Lol) I am really loving these onscreen buttons.

Great job on the mods!

Left side clock mod anyone? Check out post #3 for links. Enjoy!

Re: [RoM] AOSP 4.0.3 - updated 01/15

Okay, I did this and reflashed. I don't think it made a difference. I was on a long 1.5 hour drive last night, and at the start, my GPS position was frozen. I restarted, and it began functioning as expected. A little while later, it was frozen again.

Also, my Gallery app crashes frequently.

I just wanted to quick follow up with a GPS note. This still pertains to v6; I haven't upgraded yet. I did an 8 hour drive last week in which I needed reliable GPS, so for the first time since flashing dooderbutt, I restored my GB backup. GPS worked like a champ. Now, since switching back to dooderbutt -- to my great surprise -- GPS is spot-on. It's perfect.

I don't think anything else about my phone setup, configuration, or usage would have contributed to this outcome. Is it possible that going to a GPS-functional GB backup and back again could have solved this problem? It seems crazy, but there it is.

Am I blind or what? I do not see the download link for V7, only V6.:-\ Or is the ROM.zip the updated V7 download?

Thank you! I have LOVED V6 since it's install and have been waiting for an update since 4.04 was leaked. I don't think I'll ever have an "official" ICS ROM on my phone. What's the point? by the time Google/Sprint get it released, I'll have a custom ROM far superior to anything they could cook up. Thanks for all the hard work and an excellent ROM.

You're not kidding, beezy has done wonders with this new build. Its trully awesome.

PS if anyone is still on v6 and has gps issues, which I did experience myself, upgrade to v7 and it should be perfect. I get a lock in under 10 seconds every time.
