Using 4.0.3 version - When adding an Exchange account I get an 'Unfortunately, Email has stopped' when attempting to add. Tried two different exchange servers ( I sync to two ) both give the same error. Also, I was unable to purchase a market app - it just said error when attempting to purchase. I was able to get free apps.

Great rom. I am noticing a weird bug where when I press the power button to turn off screen it flashes my home screen for a second after going black. It didn't do this in vers 1.

Anyone know what causes this?

Yes. I'm having the same issue. So far that's the only issue that I have discovered. Any known work around?

Yes, I see the exact same issue with Calendar after installing the 12/30 update. Everything else seems fine.

Everything seems to be working great with this except for google browser and calendar sync. Any idea why?

Honestly had no clue there was a problem there.Ill have to set that up and trouble shoot that.

Can I get a little detail from all you on a couple things.

-Did you full wipe before flashing the v-4
-Did you flash the ROM and gapps at same time? If not what was the process you did?
-Did you restore any backed up data?
-If you uncheck the calendar sync and check it again does it try to sync and then just spit out the error of can't sync now?

Just trying to find out what is different between your guys and mine. I just hit the error with paid apps,I think i know why it's doing that ill try to get a fix together for that.

I'm having the calendar sync issue as well. Hope this info helps:

-Full wipe/data reset and wiped cache.
-No, flashed rom, full reboot, reboot into recovery, flash gapps, full reboot, reboot into recovery, flash face unlock, reboot.
-No. (Installed a few google apps and a couple others such as twitter and facebook. Not sure if the problem existed before installing these apps.)
-It just spits out the error, does not seem to even try to sync.

I'll keep an eye on this thread. LMK if I can help at all.

Thanks a ton for this. Finally enjoying that Ice Cream Sandwich that I've been craving for so, so, long. I haven't run into any issues yet.

This was my first time rooting and using a custom ROM. Pretty painless!

- I did a full reset/wipe (using Clockwork recovery)
- I did not - I flashed rom, rebooted into phone, rebooted into recovery, flashed gapps, rebooted into phone, rebooted into recovery, flashed face unlock, rebooted into phone, setup gmail account, attempted to setup exchange accounts
- No
-Not using Gmail Calendar

Thanks,
Brandon

Beezy,

yes I did full wipe, I followed your instructions to the T and did G-Apps after the ROM. It was failing before I did any restore or reinstall of any apps. I did uncheck and then recheck but it still fails.

I also noticed one more thing. After I hang up from a call, the screen just stays blank except for a blue line across the top and the top menu bar icons. I have to hit the home button to get it to change.

-I did full wipe prior to flashing v-4
-I flashed ROM rebooted, then gapps.
-Did not restore any data other than gmail account
-Yes, same error.

Hope this helps. Other than calendar and the weird flash after power button I love the rom.

I just downloaded this morning and the changelog says the calendar sync issue is fixed but i'm still having it. Is the version currently up not the version with the calendar fixed?
