I have been running this rom since last night maxed out to 864. No force closes. I am very impressed with this rom.

This rom is very fast and has been running stable for me at 825/825 Ondemand:

I'm probably doing something wrong here... I have thunderc recovery and I downloaded the rom, google apps and the zip from virgin to sprint. I first went into recovery and wiped absolutely everything. Then I flashed the rom, then google apps and finally the thing from virgin to sprint. Then I rebooted and when I saw the screen It said virgin mobile, not sprint... I don't think the zip from virgin to sprint is working for me... -_-

+1

You need to use a recovery made for gingerbread. Look at the original post in the aospMod thread. That recovery works fine. Buttons will be backwards as it is Optimus V recovery but still works fine.

What do you mean buttons will be backwards? Does this rom reboot a lot randomly like zefies?

The home and menu keys are switched on the V. You can also use Xionia (spelling?)recovery found in the forums here. I use it and it works fine.

I'm on clockwork recovery and the first two times I flashed the Sprint patch I thought it flashed, but it actually gave me an error. Third time it installed perfectly and the ROM runs awesome.

So what's the different between this Tom an zeroes I know there done by 2 different ppl but is there really differents in them like speed or anything

come on that's in bad taste, zefie's rom doesn't reboot all the time, you have a pebfap error, kind of like a pebcak error for a computer. Quit overclocking your phone, and it will quit rebooting on you, some of the Ss can go to 864mhz, some can't, sorry you're like me and you're not lucky enough to have an 864mhz proc, chill out and don't blame someones rom. If you had bothered to ask one of us in the thread about the rebooting issues, we could have gotten you squared away and taken care of, now it just looks like you're bad mouthing someone's hard work.

one is a port from the OV, aosp's, and zefie's is a port of the OT, anyway you look at it, our gingerbread is a port of a port of a port. Zefie ported from mik_os, who ported from CM, who ported from the nexus s. aosp is the same. this rom came from a rom for the OV, which came from a rom from CM, who ported from the nexus S.

I'm not sure if it's needed info, but some ports are actual builds from android sdks, though i don't think anyone has built one for our phone.

Agreed. I remember him posting on Zefie's version thread about the reboots. I asked him if he had it overclocked because it seems like an overclock reboot problem. he never responded. now he comes on here and badmouths Zefie's. EXTREMELY poor taste. This actually pisses me off that he did this.

Please don't ruin this thread with a pissing match. If a rom has an issues keep it in that thread, no reason to cross post. Also with how easy backups are today it shows extreme lazyness asking which rom is better. Nand, flash the rom and try it for yourself! You then can form your own opinion. You wasted 30 minutes of your life. If you don't like it nand back. These devs have countless hours in these things and and it shows extreme selfishness to get on here and bicker.

Guys sorry I didn't mean to badmouth zefie. I actually am not overclocked. I just don't think his rom agrees with me...I'm sorry dbeckwich and ichihollow

ah. sorry to jump on you there, was quick on the anger trigger. wierd that it did that for ya though. Anyway, doesn's sound like people have had reboot problems on this rom either.

Ima try the rom now and check it out. Quick question, do I need to flash that recovery with flash zip in thunderc?
