There's a difference between system memory and internal storage. 421MB is total memory vs what's not being used.

Settings > Storage > Total space, Available space. I noticed still that Titanium isn't exact. weird it is.

Ahhhhhh gotcha. Thanks ;)

New version is out. See the first post for link. Just wipe cache and dalvik cache. Flash the ROM and then OV to sprint zip.

Different launcher, native tether blah blah blah.

By doing that I will not lose my settings and configuration, right?

Hey pfer10, I am getting the international data roaming error frequently. btw thanks for the port to Sprint.

I saw that one time but I don't think it is real. It was the first day I tried the convert. You just get a triangle? Do you still have service when it happens? Maybe get a screen shot of it. Also don't thank me. Aosp did all the real work on the rom. I just did a small part to help sprint users.

It is just annoying, I haven't noticed any actual issues when it pops up.
You are right about Asop, he is doing a great job. But without that port we wouldn't be enjoying his work.

This has definitely become my daily rom, w ith no plans on switching to anything. The device has never run so smoothly before. The amount of customization is incredible.

Thanks to you both for such a fantastic build!

You had me worried. That was one of the things I fixed coming from the VM rom. I was hoping the new version didn't need re-worked. I tested and mine sends fine. Lucky me! :)

Strange, I am not able to send mms. I tried using the stock messaging app and handcent sms.

I just stays on sending..., but never actually sends.

Any ideas?

I had that happen with the latest ROM and the old OV to Sprint zip. Flashed the new OV to Sprint zip and it started working. Don't know if it was the new zip or just the reflash. May want to give that a shot.

Sounds like the OV to sprint didn't flash as that is what the stock virgin rom would do with no conversion. Did you flash the ov to sprint after the rom? What recovery are you using?

Also remember that if you flash over your current rom with the update you have to re-flash the OV to Sprint because the update will overwrite what the OV-Sprint zip does. I have had a few people ask me about this so I thought I would mention it.

Yes, I did flash the OV to Sprint zip after flashing the 0403 ROM.
I just tried flashing the new OV to Sprint.

I'm still having the same problem.

My only suggestion then would be to get Titanium backup and back up all of your apps and data. Then completely wipe (dalvik cache, format boot, system, data, and cache), flash rom, falsh gapps, flash ov-sprint, restore apps with titanium backup. Sometimes there is data from previous builds that still hang around. I always do a complete wipe whenever I flash a rom, even if it is an update. This rom is having things removed with newer builds and if you flash over top of a previous build, what was removed may still be on your phone.

So far so good! Runs great. (reformatted everything, including SD card) Have since reloaded the titanium backup folder. *sprint zone doesnt work(dont think it ever has), but dont use it anyway-uinstalled*

Yes, first flashed rom, then gapps, then ov to sprint using Xionia CWMA 1.2518.6.

As an aside, I've searched the XDA thread, looked at the readme linked at XDA, and asked about setting custom ringtones for favorites. Haven't gotten a response or found any mention of this as a bug. Did I miss something or is there something special that is done in GB to get custom ringtones for an individual number? I have only had partial success in that the custom ringtone will work on the first call, but then reverts back to the generic ringtone. In other words, the custom ringtone does not "stick" for the individual.

Sorry for the late response, Been busy at work and I'm on-call this week, so no taking the phone down at night ;-)

I have tried formattig eveything but the data partition. That's something I was trying to avoid, but I will try that next (week).

BTW : Battery has been amazing. I went 24 hours yesterday and still had 36% this morning which is amazing because I only get 1 bar at home. That usually drains my battery in a matter of hours (10 or so) even if I never turn the screen on.

Excited to test out this ROM; thanks to Pfer10 for your hard work on this!

Before I flash the ROM, I wanted to ask that someone might please confirm the process that outlined in the XDA Forums:

1. Download:
a) The ROM (Is this aospCMod-OV-20110403-signed.zip OR aospCMod-OV-to-sprint-signed.zip ???)
b) Gapps
c) OV to Sprint.zip (I'm assuming that is this file: OV-to-sprint-20110403-signed.zip Am I correct???)

2. Format all 4 partitions:
a) Boot
b) Cache
c) Data
d) System

3. Flash the following:
a) The AOSP 2.3.3 / CM7 ROM (Is this aospCMod-OV-20110403-signed.zip OR aospCMod-OV-to-sprint-signed.zip ???)
b) Gapps
c) OV to Sprint.zip (I'm assuming that is this file: OV-to-sprint-20110403-signed.zip Am I correct???)

4. Reboot

5. Enjoy.

1a) ROM is aospCMod....
1c) Yes

2) aosp recommends...

a) wipe data/factory reset
Under Mounts & Storage
b) format boot
c) format system
d) format data
e) format cache

3a) like 1a
3c) like 1c

Just don't grab the latest rom linked through the readme. That one's made for the hero. Guess how I know it wont work? ;)
