I really like this rom but my only complaint is it says Bluetooth is fixed and maybe so in regards to connecting devices but when I use my Bluetooth headset sometimes it will not even transmit the audio and the worst part is there is so much static you cant hear anything anyone says. Does anyone know if they are working on this or a fix for it? I get the same issue on both versions of CM7 on this board. I currently am running the ThundeROM and it works flawlessly with my headset and I have also used CM7 on an HD2 with my headset and worked perfectly. I know it isnt my headset, it is the rom itself.

Thanks.

What fetures does this rom not have?

Is there not a "cyanogenmod settings"

Right now it has most of the cm features, aosp removed cmparts apk I think. Once he starts ripping more out you will not see cm settings in the settings menu and you will also not have the power bar on the drop down notification bar to name a couple of features that will be removed. The removal of cm settings also means only the slide lock screen no rotary unlock.

CMParts.apk, which is CyanogenMod Settings, is there.

Well I know you can remove cmparts and still have cm settings. Build from source that I did without it still had settings. Either way it will eventually be removed.

I apologize. I just checked my build and it does still have cmparts. I thought I removed it,lol. Either way, the point is that it will eventually go away and I need to learn to check that my build built correctly before I speak next time, lol.

I think a lot of it is ringtones and other media that is normally included. I will see what I can figure out and let you know. I'm going to try my hand at some dev work now myself. I have managed to compile zephie's repo and am thinking about working on slimming it down like aosp did. I'm not exactly sure what I am doing yet, but it should be fun to dig in a bit. Also, I think there are some kernel differences that make up some of the size difference, but I am sure the kernel differences would be rather small szie wise.

I've came from nRom and I got use to having the front buttons not turning on my phone. Since coming to this room , I been doing a lot of pocket dialing and texting..

How can I change it so the front buttons dont turn on the phone?

You could enable lockscreen from CM settings...

This is what I do. I use the Lockscreen Gesture setting. On the "Delay and Timeout" tab I keep both "Screen Timeout Delay" and "Screen Turn off Delay" to 1 second.
Under the "Unlock options" tab check "Disable unlock slider."

Works like a charm.

Hey everybody. It's been a while since I have been on the forums.
Granted I am still on the 3/25 rom, but I was having the same problems with mms.

Formatting my data partition did clear up the problem, but I was unwilling to lose all of my configurations, so after doing some poking around, I discovered what in my data partition was causing the problem.

In /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db, there was an entry in the carriers table with information about the Virgin Mobile mms settings.

Since that was the only entry in that database, I removed it (renamed it to be safe), rebooted and my mms started working.

You could take a look at that. I may not be the problem in your case, but it's something to look at.

Flash 04/15 ROM, flash 04/03 OV to sprint, flash gapps. boot up, reboot to recovery, reflash 04/15 Rom one last time.
but send mms is still funny I think.....

Or you could edit /system/usr/leylayout/tunder_keypad.kl and remove the WAKE and WAKE_DROPPED from all the keys you don't want to wake the phone.

I would imagine you have to be make sure you leave the WAKE (or WAKE_DROPPED) on the correct key or you may not be able to turn your phone on.

Perfect , thanks

I apologize if I missed this: but how do you stop the phone from sending voice mail notifications when you have no new voice mail?

BTW: 4/3 ROM and 4/3 OV-Sprint and messaging app is still there! Looking forward to using the ROM for the rest of the week!

Not able to find this file, can you tell me how you found the file, and are there any special steps to saving, or edeting the file.

Thanks

It's possible that you don't have this file. If you don't then this is most likely not your problem.

However, you should be able to use root explorer, esfile explorer, terminal emulator, or adb and browse to that directory path.

It is a sqlite database file. If you are familiar with the sqlite command, you can use the command line directly on the phone (via terminal or adb). If you are not so comfortable with the sqlite command line tool, then I would suggest downloading the file (adb pull), then opening it with SQLite Manager (Its a Firefox Addon, but you can also run it outside of Firefox with XULRunner). You can get it here

You can edit the table directly using the SQLite Manager, then just push it back your phone (adb push)

Let me know if you need more information.
