[rom] AXI0M

I just flashed this rom but I have two questions if anyone can help me. First, is there a way I can get rid of the percentage in the battery meter and go back to the stock battery look? And two, I've seen people who have changed the three navigation keys to the ICS blue, which I'd like to do also but i'm not sure how. Any help would be appreciated.

You can't turn the battery% off within the ROM itself, but there are some mods you can flash. The same goes for the virtual key color. Its a mod and can found here along with alot of others

If anyone jumps to the codename rom let me know how it does compared to 2.4. I am at 41% with almost 14 hours today with the franco kernel #10. Hate to change as everything is running nice. ;)

I just set up Codename and it is really, really sick... I'm still playing with the features, but the customizations available under settings are implemented incredibly well and so far the ROM flies on whatever kernel they included (I believe I read it was Imo's or based off Imo's). Probably will still switch to JD's Kernel myself... but in any case don't be afraid to try this ROM its pretty sweet.

well i dont know about you guys but i've been followint DT since he started up this rom up untill yesterday. Although i can understand why he took off i kind of feel betrayed and let down, he let a few bad apples get to him while he left the hundreds if not thousands of his followers hanging. Maybe i'm wrong but thats just me.

Yeah, but when somebody is doing something in his spare time for fun, when the fun runs out...

Not sure why you have enough of a feeling of self-entitlement to feel BETRAYED by him. Its okay to be upset but he owed none of us anything, DT put together and made a sick rom, no doubt, but your statement is off base. Not trying to be a prick, just don't think we should turn on a dev like that.

Have you tried Codename yet? Lots of guys boarding that ship...

Is flashing a kernal easy to do?
I never did that before.

I like to wipe cache and dalvik... just to be safe, can't hurt.

Also not sure if its "necessary" but if using SetCPU I like to go in and uncheck any "set at boot" options I have.... and after flashing the kernel I got back into SetCPU, hit menu, device selection, and let it auto-scan the new kernel so all the new speeds/settings/options register correctly :)

Thanks...going for it, but before I do since your doing a device wipe any video files, etc. that are on your device go bye bye correct?
I have a few movies on my device so I guess I got to copy them back to my pc.
So if I want to flash roms, don't keep a lot of files local to the device. Right?

No no, for a kernel you mean? wiping cache and dalvik cache doesn't hurt you at all, you lose nothing. Its a good habit to wipe them before flashing any mod/kernel IMO

If you meant for a new ROM where your wiping data, formatting /system in clockwork recovery.. you won't lose anything on your sd card. As long as its on your sd card its safe :)

I meant for a rom....I copied everything over to the movies folder on the device on the nexus and thought that folder gets wiped when using clockwork.

Data wipe/system restore in Clockwork will only get rid of your apps, system and app data. You will still have your pics, movies, music and files stored on your phone. Just like an SD card. I have flashed and system restored a bunch and never lost my files.
Only unlocking your boot loader dose a complete wipe.

You will loose all of your apps and app data so i would recommend using the paid version of titanium backup. that way you can restore your app data after you automatically download your apps from the market.

I am running latest Axiom

Mine worked fine until I went to bed. Turned it off to charge as normal and stuck on charger(didn't pay attention to see if it lit up). Woke up and it is dead. Tried to hold down volume buttons + power, tried taking out battery & sim card then holding down power for 10 seconds, and tried another battery that's fully charged(I have the extra battery & external charger). Zilch, a completely dead phone.

I have had zero problems in the 3 weeks I've owned it and been using Axiom. I haven't downloaded a new app in at least a week maybe longer. The computer won't recognize it at all so I can't unroot or do anything to the phone. Please help!!

I was so bummed when I found out DT was leaving. DT made the statement only a week after I made a donation for his work.:(
