I'm working on other projects for a while. When I swing back around to this, I'll fix a couple remaining issues and then start a jb ROM.

Thanks a ton, TDM! We all look forward to seeing something awesome from ya! (most specifically, a JB ROM as stable as Quattrimus!)

You may want to try installing the Superuser app from the Play Store and using it to update the SU binary. I vaguely remember sometimes having issues with SU and a binary update fixing the issue. Honestly, that's one of the first apps I put on a clean installed ROM.

Also check out SuperSU, I've seen that packaged by default in some ROMs instead of Superuser.

Google navigation isnt showing up in the play store....any ideas?

Also cant find a way to disable the app shortcut auto adding.

OMG I just flashed this ROM for a great deal of disappointment. Right off the bat...on every boot it updates Android, then I get an error message that the clock has stopped working. Random other things crash too. I can not do anything at all in system settings. For one thing there is a black font over a black background. I mean...really? Need I say more? I find it surprising that anybody was able to work around that one. Second thing is that when I finally do find the settings in which I am trying to change it soft boots me, which half of the time freezes forcing me to pull the battery. Any ideas? Was I supposed to re-flash a stock rom first or perform a factory reset? I am currently running CM7.2 (BobZhome 05202012). I'm pretty sure I can find a theme to workaround the black on black thing if I can just get the other functions stable. I understand that I will have to partition my SD card as well. Any detailed tips on the topic?

The "Android is Upgrading" thing is an error I've encountered as well. I, however, have learned to live with it. A small price to pay for a smooth operating system.

The black on black thing isn't something I've ever encountered. Did you do a full whipe, including data, system, cache, ext, etc. before flashing? If you haven't tried it, try using the debug_formatALL.zip found elsewhere and flash again.

that sounds like the reboot is auto wiping the dalvik cache and cache wipe because thats the only time when the apps rebuild at bootup for me on my ICS droid.

Now I can't use my dialer or make calls because "Unfortunately Contacts has stopped" over and over. Random crashes sending the phone into a soft boot. I have dismissed this as not being my cpu settings because for one thing CM7.2 ran at 867 solid for over a month, and now I am only set to 730ish. Themes are not applying properly. It seems like it is only taking part of the theme.

Yea, you just flash it like a ROM and it'll wipe basically everything.

So in other words manual wipes are not needed using this method befor flash, correct? I use an Op V and being that it's the same hardware as the Op S I would assume that it would work for me as well.

Sounds like you need to start over fresh. Most of the problems sound like system data restored from titanium backup.

Download the optimus v version for starters. Do all the system, boot, cache, and data wipes. Flash the rom and ICS gapps. Don't restore any system apps or data from titanium backup. Only use themes for cm9 mdpi phones.
