[ROM][CM10][JB] Euroskank JellyBro

Someone missed this. New menu added - Launcher. This wasn't there before, was it? Only thing working is home screen changes. (grid, widget resize, auto-rotate, etc.)

I don' have that option and I just flashed 807. Not sure what it does but I am enjoying the ROM.

He might be using a custom launcher?

Use the 723 package from xoomdev.

What is so special about these gapps? I have been using the 0726 apps since they came out and haven't had any issues besides having to download Maps after a full wipe.

You might be right, but I am using Apex and still no "Launcher" option. I am not worried about it, just thought I did something wrong when I flashed the ROM.

For me? They work. Restore works, which is a plus.

You can always do a dirty flash with a new download.

Any recommendations on what kernel to run with this or is stock good enough?

Stock has been solid for me. Good performance and battery. Color controls are comprehensive enough, too.

Sorry for the noob question, but how do you change the color or get to the color controls? Will that change the soft keys color?

It's for the actual screen color and gamma levels. They are under Settings>Device>Advanced>Color Multipliers Tuning/Color Gamma Tunning.

It won't do anything to specific parts of the screen like the Nav Buttons - it is just to get the screen away from that awful yellowish tint. I like a stronger blue and heavy saturation, so my settings are as follows:

Color Multipliers Tuning:

Red: 0.8225806367
Green: 0.8225806367
Blue: 1.0000000

Color Gamma Tuning:

Red: 0
Green: 0
Blue: 10
DSS Gamma Set.: 7

I don't touch color hack presets - none were to my liking.

Thank you for the help and answering my noob questions.

I might be imagining things but the latest one doesn't seem as buttery.

Same. Clean install. Even had two redraws going home. Radio signal doesn't seem as strong either.

Normally, I'd say I'd give it a few days before flashing something else... but I'll just flash the next nightly tomorrow am :)

I've been using nova for weeks and have used it to restore screens.

The xoomdev gapps restored for me.

Ok, this strange issue started with806...

The screen times out and goes blank like normal. Pressing the power button does nothing. I can't get the screen back. I know the phone is still running because if I unplug the power cord I get the "disconnect sound" from my PC. I have to actually pull the battery and reboot to get my screen back.

This has only happened twice, once today and once yesterday, but it makes me a little nervous. I've had to dial 911 twice in the last 6 months and having a phone that I can't turn on is a dangerous thing.

I had the exact same thing happening as well but noticed it was doing that when it was plugged in getting charged, when not plugged in, no problems. Could be just things settling in, I have not (so far) had an experience like that on the latest build.
