So ive been on the Fitsnuggly CM10 rom since 8/03 was out. I just dirty flashed 8/08 today and so far I am getting the best battery life out of all of them. Granted its only been about 4 hours so far, but my battery only dropped 2% in an hour on stand by. I am using the Franco 230 kernel with interactive governor.

Ive also never had any issues at all with this rom, at all. Everything works perfectly.

Cheers!

Well...since this is a Verizon forum, it makes it a little more difficult to compare. However, the ROM does not include the gapps. Maybe try flashing a different version? There are several out there. But, I believe the last official one is 7/26.

I am running the 7/26 gapps, I've had this problem in the past, I'm thinking a full wipe and fresh build may help. Its just weird like the link is missing or something other programs can work the camera just no stock camera

Not seeing any aesthetic changes or features added. Maybe backend work or something.

Interestingly, I am one app short in the app drawer on the 1st page, so if anyone wants to screenshot their app drawer on page 1 (or 2 if you have a lot) on 0807 and then compare it to their app drawer on 0808, that'd be great.

Performance seems on par with what it has been. Hard to tell since kernel still needs some time to warm up.

Is it your camera?

I just flashed the latest rom and 726 gapps and I have the stock camera working just fine. I didn't do a dirty install, full wipe cache/system and davlik.

Does the auto restore work yet with 726 gapps?

How do I auto save my photos to Google+. It used to be a simple setting in the G+ app but now I can't figure out how to do it. In fact, it used to let me decide when it should be done. Now, all that's gone from the G+ app.

In settings I see "Instant Upload" but under it it says, " To turn on Instant upload you need to enable Instant Upload in the Android "Accounts & Sync" settings." When I tap on that it takes me to Auto-sync app data. I see "Google" there and I've got "Google Photos" checkmarked but G+ still says Instant Upload is off.

What's up?

Bingo! Thanks.

Another item to put on the checklist after a clean ROM flash. Whew, that list is getting long!

I was doing the app/data restore from titanium after FULL wipes and found that it was give and take on some apps, all user. So now I just restore the apps when ever I do full wipes. On semi dirty flashes (system) I'll do the user app/data thing. (Just for quick looks of the ROM)

Beamed from my GneX via TaPaTalK. ;)

1. There is no such thing as a semi-dirty flash. You either wipe data or you do NOT wipe data. No in between.

2. If you don't wipe data, there is no need to restore. All of your apps & data are still there.

Semi Dirty = Wipe (Cache/Dalvik/System) Keep the data :-$

Dirty flashing = NO WipinG

Clean Install = SUper Wipe ScripT (cache/Dalvik/System/Data):p

Factory reset = W.T.H. !?!?

Your definition of semi dirty is everyone else's description of dirty. There's NO reason to not wipe cache/dalvic and format system. It takes a total of 10 seconds and a few extra minutes in startup time.

Maybe you should call it a filthy flash. There's no excuse for doing that. If you don't have 5 minutes to DF, wait until you do. I am actually defending dirty flashing. :D
