[ROM][CM10][JB] Euroskank JellyBro

I don't think dalvik is wiped within data wipe but I could be mistaken. Cache is for sure but like d says, just do it :)

Yeah I'm not sure either way lol. Regardless, do ALL THE WIPES. Takes 4 seconds. No excuses :).

I flipped when I was told that dirty flashing was the way to go on this build because of the scripts built into the ROM, (bs if you ask me) so I tried it real quick with the same build (no updated builds) and that's when I got the familiar bugs mentioned here recently. Where before all that, erasing system and then flashing gave me no issues. (Minus that reboot in the morning but I'm not counting that as an issue)

The guy on Rootz was not giving you accurate info. AOSP-based ROMs wipe the system automatically when you flash them, but they don't often do it fully, when they really should.. which is why we always recommend wiping it on your own regardless :)

I also prefer to dirty flash over a nightly as well .
If all is not well and it appears if I seem to be the only one experiencing an isssue(s) then I will go back and reflash with a total clean install of the Rom . :)

That's what I'm talking about! Android Central holding it down....we got it like that! :D
Thanks.

This. Wiping system is absolutely vital regardless of what the script says. I don't trust scripts, mainly because you can get burned by them--hello AXIOM softbricks!

I see some of you are using the 811 gapps. What is the difference between 726 and 811? I have used the 726 gapps without any issues.

Honestly, it's not that hard to just maintain the same steps even though some scripts take care of everything.

1. Wipe Cache
2. Wipe Dalvik
3. Wipe System
4. Install ROM + GAPPS
5. Reboot
6. ???
7. Profit.

I think the 8/11 gapps was developed by Jakeday and it isn't official. I could be wrong though.

No, but on the last build it kept telling me I had a gaaps upgrade all morning today.

Goo.IM always tells me there is a new update for Gapps, and tries to get me to download a package from April 29th.

Sent from my toaster (rooted).
