[ROM][CM10][JB] Euroskank JellyBro

Nothing like a clean install on a Monday...

Also on the first day of a new billing cycle...

Really sets the tone for the week & month...

Works and looks good so far, now let's see how fast I can set set-up again...

Haha...

Yep, I was try and see how quickly I can set everything up again.

Like my Dad always says, "99% of the time I spend on the computer is spent trying to make it better"

Sent from my toaster (rooted).

I'm a bit confused of were I need to go to download jellybro rom? Also, does this rom already include GAPPS?

Thanks!

U've done it again Mr.dmmarck, your help is greatly appreciated! I will do this as soon as I get home and update on how it went! :D

As far as I know... all you need is basically a working or compatible GAap... once you install, your play store will update everything, if it isn't the latest version...

now working, meaning, everything syncs; for some reason, my previous GAap didn't want to pull my Gallery Pictures... but everything seemed to work ok...

Anybody have any clue when/if this ROM will include the option to change color of battery/wireless & data signal/clock? I really prefer not going through the headache of ninjamorphing this stuff. This feature is already baked in to AOKP, but AOKP is missing the text message response from the notification drawer that I already love.

I checked out the jellybro AOKP this afternoon to see if it had it yet, but it doesn't. I wiped/flashed back to jellybro CM10.

I don't have enough posts on XDA yet to post in development, and I'm not about to just post to get my count up (probably against the rules).

No clue and not sure if it's in their plans. Have you tried a cm10 theme?

All of the themes I can find are the dark themes, and they change icons and widgets as well. I haven't been able to find anything that exclusively changes the status bar icon/text colors. I could probably figure out how to do it myself with either Ninjamorph or messing around with the status bar XML, but that's something I don't have a ton of experience in yet. Plus, at this point I think I would have to do it multiple times or spend a fair amount of time decompiling/substituting/recompiling every time I updated my ROM, since it would go back to blue if I didn't.

Have you tried ics fixer theme in the play store? I'm not sure if it changes the status bar, but it might be what you are looking for since it's a simple theme. You are correct about all the other themes, they change almost everything.

Here are all the free and paid themes for cm10. You have endless possibilities :D

There hasn't seemed to be a lot of noticeable changes lately. I am glad the quick message from a notification no longer opens the SMS app.

The latest nightly has the option to align the lockscreen clock.

hey grey... that is good to know; I'm assuming you are referring to 9/09? thought I was doing something wrong with the quick messaging. Also, when I first installed 9/04, I could have sore that I could also quick reply to email...

any hoo.. liking the new changes around here, a lot of my old links, youtube videos seem to be broken...

Yes I mean 909 build has the clock lockscreen option. Yes every new thing they add to cm10 makes it the go to rom, well that's just my opinion :D

I'm still on the 9/08 build, fiqure I will wait for more stuff added that I might want to use before updating everyday.
Trying to get a better feel for battery life.
An older build I was on drained battery faster than I expected.

Based on the fact that I saw AOKP abandoned quick messaging, I will be staying here most likely. I would still love if I could customize the text and icon colors in the status bar like in AOKP. I will do it myself though before I give up quick messaging.

I also have noticed AOKP builds don't let you expand notifications, unless I missed a setting somewhere (highly possible).

910 is up. Option for lockscreen clock to be centered has been added but the status bar option has been taken away.

Mine work just fine - I think that's more of a JB thing and less of a feature to be added/removed. I've yet to flash a ROM that didn't have this feature enabled.

That being said, AOKP defaults to no expansion, so it requires taking my two fingers and pulling down (or up on Paranoid) to expand it.
