Is it me or is there a change is display quality vs the original sprint software? specifically the icons don't look nearly as good as they used to. this could just be in my head tho.

otherwise great work! i had been using drews latest build until i came across this one which so far seems to be more stable and wifi tethering works.

The icons in the app drawer do look a little bit blurry... The desktop icons look good though. I use another icon set and they look better than the default ones.

Which ones? I'm looking for some good icon sets. And which launcher are you using these icons with?

Just wondering...are any of added features (especially Flash and data2ext) seen in some of the other GB ROMs under consideration for integration here?

Adobe Flash appears to have been successfully used on this ROM according to a thread search.

Flash can be easily installed. But the big reason I won't include it is if licensing problems arise since it's a hacked version. No plans for data2ext.

Jason, here's the screenshot of the notification power widget. The sound+vibrate is selected but it looks like this. And the brightness button is stuck at "auto" on my phone so it should show auto but it's hard to see.

It is a CM7 bug that i fixed in the next release. The Auto and Dim settings trigger the automatic brightness settings. A quick fix is to download Autobright Switch from the market, and it will turn off the Auto brightness and fix the icon. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.abrody.brightness

The kraven I installed the hdpi ics cm7 theme from the market after having the tweaked mdpi theme that you uploaded. From some reason it didn't compile before but now its working fine. Would you know any reason why its working now?

Tried with and without the hotfixes both new version and 10/17 ME personally im not getting gps lock at all... The icon doesn't even pop up and yes I've tried all fixes...

They are always updating that theme, so maybe they are adding support for our phones. They probably are doing XML edits, so it requires recompiling.

Hmm. About your GPS, did you do a full wipe before installing? Or use the debug system zip? Try GPS status from the market and see if you get any sensor reading. Or try a different kernel for testing. . Can you nandroid to another vd Tom and check GPS?

Wow thanks for the link. It finally got rid of the icon... I even reinstalled the ROM a few days ago and didn't fix it.
But the sound+vibrate icon in Orion has always been like that. It looked broken before I had the issue with the brightness button.

OK. This question seems to get ignored a lot... I'm re-posting my question; Does anyone know how I can fix the checkbox issue in some themes? Boxes like "remember my username" and some "post reply" buttons are not visible in ZduneX25's MIUI and Meizu themes. Sent him a message but haven't got a response yet...

I'm afraid that some phones may not like the higher settings and won't allow the ROM to boot. Also what is the temperature of your phone at 864?

Between 72-82 degrees! Only with this kernel version have I been able to overclock this high with no issues.

First if the is any way to change the sprint splace logo the red one that shows opon starting. And if there a any way to get the to stay off while charging and stop from turning on. I heard its a bug with all cyanogenmod roms.

The phone turning on while charging is a cm7 Feature , I believe. If you can use a file explorer with root, just delete the bootanimation.zip file in the system/media folder. That's the flashing one. The red LG one, I'm not too sure you can delete that one

I think I read somewhere else that Nick's roaming app doesn't work on CM7. I believe Nick's roaming app actually ties into an LG-provided phone testing/configuration program (SerivcesLG) that is available on the stock ROMs, and probably on most stock-derived ROMs (ThundeROM had it).

Maybe we can get this to work on the CM7 port by extracting the appropriate LG programs/apks from a stock ROM and installing them on this ROM (using the Gingerbread stock ROM as the donor) ...
