I used Bobzhome's CM9 Rom as a base and the optimus S port of Paranoid Android.

If you port that, your just porting an port of a rom.
I wouldn't port that rom, in my opinion, since you could flash it as it is.

That's because they have ZVD, ZVH, ZVj, and so on. We don't have to worry about that stuff because we don't get updates. Understand?

Afaik our zvd baseband works with you guys' roms, zvh/zvj doesn't. But if it was simply the problem of it being the wrong baseband, we wouldn't get service at all, meaning we wouldn't get a phone signal either.
Probably a porting process. He probably threw out some files in the ETC with the Optimistic p500 files.

Could I ask for one favor from the OP? I'd like to try porting Paranoid Android to another device, how did you go about it? I'm sorry, I really don't know where to begin doing any of this, and I'm not sure where I would have to look to get the files I'd have to look for

AFAIK, that is another name for the Google Play apk.
