Alarm sounds are working for me. Are you using custom sounds or moved them to the sdcard? Try clearing data of the clock app. In the app drawer, long press the Clock app and slide it to the app info, then clear data.

I cleared the data and still no dice. I'm not using custom sounds and I didn't move any files the are still under system/media/audio/alarms

I flashed this on a ZVJ radio, using the ZVD->ZVJ package.

Rom is working amazing - no issues here. SMS/MMS/Data/Phone are all working well.

Can't believe this is still Alpha - The Beta should be quite spectacular!

Did deep sleep issue get fixed or is my phone just super cool and said you to deep sleep also coming from danterom noticed epic battery for me in comparison

I must also commend you, Thekraven, on the battery life of this rom. It is much better than it was a couple of alphas ago. I can go a whole day with minimal use and get 70% left.

Think you can try heavy use one day and tell me how it goes?

The Audio routing prevents me from using ICS. If i listen to music and get a notification, then the music will play out loud for about 1-2 seconds.

Kraven, you're a gentleman and a scholar and there aren't very damn many of us left.

Epic battery with this newest Alpha 17F (previous ones - battery not near this good). Getting 'Android Upgrading' message on boot, no biggie to me. Got a couple of questions:

1) Is there a way to re-provision the data similar to 'reset powervision' or whatever that was on older phones? We're having mega problems with our one tower here in Moab, UT and I want to make sure I've got this tool in my arsenal when they bring up the new equipment.

2) I really like the ability to set some slider shortcuts on the lock screen. On a previous install, I was able to find a "Silence for xx Minutes" activity. Now, for the life of me, I cannot find this activity or any other silencing activity. I really want to be able to silence my phone from the lockscreen. Any ideas?

Is there any way to get the old fonts folder back? I even tried looking for a CM9 stock fonts flashable zip and tried it to no solution. It'd be fine except that when I'm trying to switch to type in Japanese to some of my friends, it shows up as blanks. With the previous alphas I've used, Japanese has shown up with no problems.
btw, I'm on Alpha 17F.

I'll make a zip for that. It's the droidsansfallback.ttf. You can copy the font folder of an older build.

Sweet. I just replaced the whole fonts folder with the one in 16b cause I don't mind the size being larger. I noticed that when I typed, the Japanese would display now, even without reboot. The preview words (in Swype) were still blank until I rebooted. I tried switching just that file, and it worked the same way, but I didn't try rebooting before swapping the whole folder.

The build date is pretty close to the alpha release date.

I gotta ask and i dont even have a optiS anymore (so its not a eta)
But when will this come out of alpha??maybe a beta1??
Only reson i ask is because its been in active development longer than most other ics roms in fact it was one of the first ones sincs ics release....so i cant help but wonder

Where did you find the ZVD->ZVJ , I have to downgrade to ZVD to root.

Where did you find the ZVD->ZVJ , I have to downgrade to ZVD to root.

There's a thread with the patch, if you search these forums, but you still have to be downgraded to ZVD so you can root, install a custom recovery, and flash the ZVD->ZVJ patch.

Downgrading to ZVD is your step 1 right now.

For the provisioning, you need to be on a sprint based rom. Easiest way is to back up in recovery and flash Reborn rom for zvd or if you are on baseband zvj one of the zvj sprint based roms. Then update provisioning and prl. Then restore your backup.

I"m not sure on the silence on the lockscreen option. Maybe make a profile that does it.

I'd like to give Kraven (and all the devs) a big round of applause, and my heartfelt thanks for all their hard work. This ROM has been my daily driver since Alpha 16 (which I stayed with), and has been pretty much rock-solid stable for me the whole time. Before that I was on Drew's CM7 ROM, and that was solid, too.

Alas, it's time for me to leave it. My contract upgrade was yesterday, and I've moved up to a Galaxy Nexus (which I've already rooted, of course). I was really feeling the memory crunch with my Optimus, so I'm loving the GNex. I'll probably leave it with stock JB for a while, though I'm sure to go with a custom ROM eventually.
