Hm. I can certainly see my phone trying to get the data, calling out to wherever it needs to; it's just not working. handcent is giving it its best shot, at least.

make sure your on wifi.

Hye, can anyone send me a link to a wifi ther app that will work with this? They have all been removed from the market evidently exept for Foxfi and it wont work for me.

i see where native wifi tethering is turned off in the frameworks, so should be an easy fix, just waiting for more fixes before a new build.

Try wifi tether app, choose optimus S profile, check clamping, and might have to change setup-method from auto, and turn on wifi-encryption

USb tethering should be working, but i never could get it working with windows7 with cm7. But worked fine with tethering apps.

I tried all of this and still no dice. It don't work with CM7 either. The native tether works great on CM7 but not on this. I need one of them to work or I can't run this daily. Thanks dude.

I dunno what to tell you, android-wifi-tether worked for me in CM7 before built-in started to do so, and is the only one that works on CM9 via my experience. It also downloads itself to my phone from market account, so its still on there

alpha6 randomly crash-reboots more than alpha5v12 did, and when it happens I almost always have to pull my battery then power up to get an ACTUAL boot instead of a hanging-for-five-minutes-on-the-bootscreen-with-no-signs-of-stopping attempt. I'm not sure what's responsible.

No crashes of any kind here. Back on A6 now. Still running strong and stable for me. Just chasing apps sucking battery.

I am also in both regular browser and opera mobile.

battery life seems to be improving with more use. not a single crash or fc only issues I'm having is clock freezing caused alarm not to go off this morning

I've experienced the same once on a complete fresh install, full wipe on alpha 6.
