Baseband got fixed in CM7 (coming soon), so we'll see if it can get fixed to cm9.


These are notes for me, but anyone can give it a try.

For bluetooth I might try swapping out cm7 stuff. Try swapping out AudioFilter.csv from cm7, then try bluetooth. Next try swapping out media_profiles.xml from cm7. Both are in the system/etc folder. And see if bluetooth audio works.

Next would be from /system/lib/bluez-plugin/audio.so and /system/lib/liba2dp.so from CM7. You might need to rename liba2dp.so to audio.a2dp.default.so and place in the system/lib/hw folder.

Goo just worked for me (twice), both wget and firefox. MD5SUMS check and all. It did stall out twice in each case, but resumed after a few minutes.

in opera mobile on wifi never had an issue downloading any of the alphas other than a8 last night

For Some Reason I Keep Getting "Download Unsuccessful" Message With Alpha 9, Had The Same Problem With Alpha 8, It Would Get Up To Approximately 80% And Just Stop. Tried Retrying And Using Different Browsers But It Never Completely Downloads. Plus I Have Over 2 GB On My SD Card

Ive jailbroken my ipods, an iphone and my new ipad3 but now I have a free phone from Sprint called the Optimus S. I have had this ZVD version of the Optimus S and barely any of my options are allowed. I want to root so get super user permissions to enable my wifi hotspot, if there is any ROM to install to change the look of my phone..i,d say i would pass but I really want to get my HOTSPOT working!
Can anyone help me through the step by step process to root my Optimus S 2.2.2 ZVD?!?!?!?!

If all you care about is the hotspot, try FoxFi from the market. You don't need to be rooted. I ran it on stock zvd today for about an hour (returned to stock in hopes of catching the new update sprint is pushing). If you are looking for a little more, look into the automated root tool up in the stickies and this rom or thekravens cm7 or reborn. The biggest reason in my book to root and rom is to overclock our little phone. Many apps will stall or stutter without it. Plus custom roms allow more internal space for app data.

And do NOT use rom manager !!!!!

i used gingerbreak.apk. install this app and it's a one click root. the reboot is a little slow but thats normal.

I wonder if the goo website depends a lot on internet connection speed. My slow internet back in my hometown stalled constantly, but now I'm back at my apartment with fast internet and it downloaded in not even a minute? Haha...

I haven't had that many problems downloading from Goo-Inside.Me until tonight.

Installed the newest build, although interestingly enough, my log is filled with this message relating to the Adreno library:
I/Adreno ( 2197): ioctl code 0x40140931 (IOCTL_KGSL_TIMESTAMP_EVENT) failed: errno 22 Invalid argument

Hey Kraven awesome job on A9 perfect build and has become my daily However my CPU spikes up even when I'm not doing anything. Maybe something us causing it to do that (I'm on fresh flash btw) and is causing sluggish performance and fast battery drain.

The one thing preventing me from being comfortable running this as a daily (who am I kidding, I'm already running this as a daily!) is the time/clock issue. Although I only notice it sometimes. Other times it doesn't happen at all. I haven't pinpointed it down to when it happens yet.. but anyone else still notice it or am I seeing things? Besides that and the camera, it's perfect for me - even mms fully working!

BUG REPORT: When I try to power-off it usually reboots instead of staying off. With both alpha 8 and alpha 9 I had to power off about three times to get it to stay down. I'm not sure why it finally stayed down. The last time that I got it to stay down, I had unplugged it so that may or may not be related. I doubt it. (It was 1AM and I was too tired to reproduce it before Nandroiding back to Reborn ROM.)

Amazing ROM. Love it. HUGE improvement over Froyo/Gingerbread. Shockingly, it seems faster than GB-based ROMs. Am I crazy or were there performance enhancements made to ICS, or the GPU driver or something?

If the camera gets fixed, this will become my daily driver. (And I'm even tempted to use it anyway.)

Still seeing it with the system clock. It seems to lag after two or three minutes of the screen being off, then update itself the first time I do something that hits the internet. You can check Facebook every time you main screen turn on, but that doesn't help your alarms go off on time.

Latest Beautiful Widgets update seems to have corrected that app's time issues. Consider downloading an appropriate app in the interim, maybe.
