If you're on cm7 you should post in that thread ;)

As to your issue, i'd imagine simply rebooting would fix it?

Try blowing out your headphone jack debris might be in there

Blowing may work, or may push it deeper. Try using something like a toothpick or a needle or safety pin point instead. But be careful not to use too much force as to avoid damage

He means that his phone still thinks his headphones are connected when they're not, so no sound will go through the speaker...

Right. A possible cause is a bit of conductive debris bridging the gap & subverting the headphones' actual function when they're plugged in. (I'd guess.)

When you say "they," does it include you?

I do admit the quattrimus thread is cluttered but that's due yo people asking eta and re reporting bugs in my post on androidfourms I make a note that says only experienced users should flash ones that do understand thekraven or TDM have lives aswell if you guys want us gone we will go just say so. It is YOUR thread. In curiousnoobs defense he was trying to keep your thread safe from us

I don't think any of us S users mind V users being in here, as long as it pertains to the thread and you're not spamming or causing trouble...

So I love this ROM. It has everything you could ask for! Minus camera...LOL. anyways, my question is; does cm9 have the option to set a custom app opener via long press to the hard menu key like cm7? I absolutely loved that customization option for apps I visited consistently. Let me know if anyone knows! I have searched all through the settings but came up empty. Thanks in advance!

Real Nice Rom, Just notice that the app icons are just clear or white backround not black backround like GB Roms ( I think ICS Code calls for!?), just want option, or would suggest option of backround. Everthing else looks like its reported, and of course some FC, the apps most likely don't play with ICS code well:-!.......really cool Alpha build, can't wait for your Beta builds!!:-$Thanks Kraven!!!

I'm on Alpha 9, and I keep getting worried about the clock....

I am using clocksync, with automatic synchronization enabled at an interval of 15 minutes. "Only on Wi-Fi" and "Only when awake" are not checked.

Even so, now and then when I wake the phone, the displayed time on both the lockscreen and the statusbar is different than the actual time (sometimes by a couple minutes, sometimes by over an hour). I use my phone as an alarm clock for waking up for school every morning, and my concern is that if I set an alarm, it won't go off at the right time.

Should I be worried, or not?

You shouldn't be. I use it for alarms too an it always goes off right on time. The system time stays correct, the displays just lag behind

Thanks (: That's exactly what I needed to know. I was thinking that the actual system time was being synchronized / corrected, just not on the actual readouts. Thanks for confirming!

Also, about the rear speaker issue: I believe the problem has to do with the dialer app handling the volume, not with how the OS actually handles the rear speaker. I'm streaming music to the phone right now, and it's QUITE loud out of the rear speaker at full volume, whereas when activating speakerphone from within the dialer, the volume remains the same whether it's coming out of the front or the rear speaker.

And if you have the "kill app back button" turned on, it's known to mess with the clock sync on the p500 phones.
