I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, but I've noticed that the disappearing text that happens in Gmail, Facebook, ESPN, etc, all seem to use WebView from the Android API.

Sadly WebView is crap, on Android and iOS. It is so slow on rendering sites. WebView is a browser with in the app. (Did anyone notice that facebook changed its layout in the news feed WITHOUT a update?) The app is a wrapper on a special page for the app. So if someone can fixed that it would be awesome.

Clock lag is caused by the CPU entering deep sleep mode. Leaving the screen on while plugged in solves the problem. There's an option for it in developer settings.

un- and reinstall play store. Make sure you download the latest version first and that you have adb working, can use a shell to make sure it gets reinstalled as a system app. (or get it on your phone, use titanium backup to convert it to a system app once it's installed.)

I couldn't find link for alpha 11? I flashed zvj to zvd then rooted using gingersnap. Then clock works recovery to flash but every time flashed I wiped everything then flashed again or zvd would take then would have to start everything over like nothing happened.....cm9 is working awesome =)....so far everything I use but wifi an USB tethering an you tube...if it helps I use an app for wifi tethering an log says softap

Ohhh right Im on 10g with every patch I could find kernal 13 and gapps

6/1/12 got desperate found an app that works on adhoc so it must mean the potential is there. Once again much thanks thekraven . . .

Startup is hell of slow on 11c. Again, not entirely sure if it's the ROM or my cut-rate sd card taking forever to load, but it makes the first ten, twelve minutes after hitting "reboot" completely worthless.

For the "package file errors" and other Google Flay Store issues. Sometimes uninstalling updates from "Setup... Apps" helps besides moving stuff to SD, but I always check how much browser data is being used by the browser apps because that can be mucho MBs. Delete data from browsers in setup... apps (cause browser data won't get deleted from cache or Dalvik AFAIK). Also I created a clear cache widget with Elixir2 that I can just touch and cache is gone. May have been said before but try Llama to control wi-fi on or off sync'd with screen on or off - quadrupled my battery life.

Also for "fun" I loaded 10G on a ZVH baseband that has no phone or data, just Wi-Fi and other than the regular issues it runs great. Don't know why it works but baseband reports ZVH and no kernal panics, SODs, reboots or freezes! Wi-fi is super fast. Phone speaker works great with Groove IP. ??????

Just flashed 10G to my phone tonight. I'm having trouble installing gapps on 10G. Error is:

Can't open /sdcard/gapps-1cs-20120429.zip
(Unknown error: 0)
Installation aborted.

Any ideas?

I wonder any thoughts on ...the first flash after ZVD was alpha 9 being first of ICS 4.04....then going to 10f->10g |?not having prior alphas be related to my wifi not working? ....3g works fine. Just phone seems like its having a seizure or something when I enable tethering.... I'm on it right .now......or could it be sprint has that much of a lock down on the device...: []?as far as I knew rooting it cut them out of the phone..,I'm commingle from t mobile GSM ans had a mb501 I rooted and flashed cm7 got spoiled and became dependent on free wifi in my pocket.lol

Well after going back to stock VD and re-rooting, Xinonia, I flashed 10G and got gapps to install.

@thekraven: possible bug on a11c without test13 kernel in notification drop down for sounds I use vibe & ring and vibe. if set yo vibe & ring and turn up or down ringer volume with side buttons it switches to only ringer no vibe. this no longer happens with test13 kernel.

also what keyboard is this in cold as ice? would love it on my marquee.

So far, I haven't had anymore problems. This puppy runs WONDERFULLY!!! However, there have been a couple things that concerned me, and I just wanted to know more about'em...

Whenever I have the phone connected to the computer, the touchscreen's scrolling has a tendency to get VERY wild, for lack of a better term. It seems to be all over the place and not very responsive. When I disconnect, however, it's just fine.

Also, in the Performance settings, I set the CPU governor to Performance and the max speed to the full 864MHz (with a minimum speed of 600MHz)...this worked amazingly well for about a week. After that, certain games that benefited HEAVILY from the speed boost *glaring at Zenonia 4 and Dream Heights* suddenly are back to being slow and choppy. No idea why that is. (Though I suspect that Dream Heights wasn't programmed with as many animations in the Android version to begin with; it was choppy as hell when I had stock GB)

For some reason every time i try to use the cpu governor, it insta reboots my phone. I Kinda wanna put my phone up to it's full potential. Any ideas?
