[ROM]GB 2.3.4 gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2c][2.3.4 Beta]

I really liked this ROM. Only 1 problem. Seemed like when I was on wifi I would keep getting international roaming notifications. Anyone else notice this? Or know how to fix it?

Interesting! I haven't seen any international roaming notifications on mine. I use wifi all the time at home. Can't offer any advice on a fix, aside from reading through or searching the XDA thread for the ROM. Maybe someone else over there has seen this as well?

I'm going to update to 1.2i tonight (DLing right now). I'm still running 1.2c! It's been so stable I'm afraid to update. If it get's wonky on me I'll just nandroid back to 1.2c. What versions is everyone else running?

Tried running the latest version and I had a bunch of FC's after restoring my apps. Something about media. I wonder if it was the new Music Beta that I was running.

Wallpapers never set without a reboot, couldn't change themes without it FC a bunch of times...

Guess I'll stick with stock rooted for now.

Strange. 1.2i seems to be very stable for me. I have not seen a single fc yet. I did do a full wipe and then reinstalled all my apps from the market (I don't use Titanium). I did notice that a wallpaper was set with this ROM, where it was not set with the 1.2c ROM. I am also running the Music Beta app and haven't seen a single issue with it. Might want to try a full wipe and reload the ROM, then reinstall the apps from the market and see how that goes.

DOH! I updated to 1.2i and they release 1.2j this morning! Just thought I'd pass on this info. Seems like there is great dev support for this ROM, which is another plus in my book for choosing a ROM. Hope you all are loving it as much as I am!

Yeah, I went for Go Contacts, it goes with my GO SMS and my GO Launcher... ;)

The thing I really liked about the HTC flashlight was the 3 levels of light which I haven't seen in any other apps.

Having a problem with GPS now with one app, Cardio Trainer... the GPS is working intermittently but seems to work fine with other apps... can't have everything, I guess...

I'm still running 1.2e and love it!! It's very stable for me and the only issue I'm having is that Plume seems to be FCing but I'm not sure if that's Plume or the ROM.

The dev is doing an awesome job of updating but I just can't keep up with him.....LOL

Probably off topic but does GO Contacts sync Facebook contacts who are a different name in my phone's contacts than on Facebook?

That was the main problem I was having as to why I went back to a Sense ROM...

I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe so, not sure anything can do that though, it's all keyed to name or email address, no?

The only other issue that I have is that the U/L and D/L speeds are considerably slower now. Anybody have any suggestions on what to do to improve them?

The GPS problem I was having may or may not have been solved with the j update...

LoL.... yep did the "i" update lastnight before I went to bed... woke up and there was the "j" update.

Going to flash it now... as for what it fixes. I think it's mainly issues with 4G.

This rom seams to be getting better and better by the hour.... Lol!!!! Hands down the best ASOP rom i've used yet!!! Keep up the good work Deck, it's really appreciated. Thank You M8!!!

So I am lost with the downloads, I am new with rooting and I think I have an understanding of how to change ROMs but when I click on the link and go to the XDA dev website, there are 2 links, one for 2.3.3 and the other for 2.3.4. But when I click on each link (the 2.6.37.4), it seems to download the same file? Anyone else having this issue?

this is what it looks like:

1.0 build is based off 2.3.3. (Thanks cm team) and cm kernel 2.6.37.4 (thanks cm team). And YES it has Wimax AND HDMI Mirroring. (thanks teamwin)
gingerbread-evo-deck-1.0 - 2.3.3 Video - Thanks D/\SH

1.2m build is based off 2.3.4. (Thanks cm team) and cm kernel 2.6.37.6 (thanks cm team). And YES it has Wimax AND HDMI Mirroring. (thanks teamwin)
gingerbread-evo-deck-1.2(x) - 2.3.4 Video - Thanks Dash

The 2.6.37.6 is the kernel I believe. The download links for the ROM itself is further down the page.

Switched from CW to RA and flashed again after wiping cache/dalvik and whatever GPS issues I was having are completely gone. Maps is pinpoint perfect as is navigation. For some reason my damn cardio trainer app is off by half a mile. Also updated all the radios etc. and the speed issues I was having seems to have been resolved...

Contemplating going back to stock and then starting over with RA from the beginning instead of CW. Anybody think it's worth it or not?

Thanks.

I would like to thank all the developers for all of their hard work. i am currently using 1.2e how do i update to 1.2m? this rom is very smooth. i was using the Tmartin rom then i switched to this. this battery doesnt seem to last that long. is anyone using a different kernel? which one are you using and how is your battery life? oh yeah...the Tmartin rom had a fast boot option. is there a way to put one on this rom? Do I select..install update from zip, or install Tom from zip. Do I factory reset again or just Wipe cache and Dalvik cache?
