[ROM]GB 2.3.4 gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2c][2.3.4 Beta]

That would be correct :)

So from what I read, the 2.3.3 is pretty stable, so is it safe to use? BT, wimax, all that works on it?

I use launcher Pro plus so I do not really need sense, but I would love to try out sense 3.0..

I think I am using the sprint lovers ROM, this is all still very new to me and kinda scared to switch ROMs lol

2.3.3 is pretty stable but I haven't used used it in a while (been using 2.3.4 lately). On v1.2e (2.3.4), BT, WiMax and everything works great for me.

I use OpenHome as my launcher and I saw over at XDA there's a beta for Sense 3.0 but I believe WiMax doesn't work along with other things.

cool, well thank you... guess I'll give it a shot tonight!

Make sure you read up on the Sens 3.0 ROMs. They are still in early development and pretty unstable. Sense 3.0 is huge and takes up almost all of the onboard memory on the EVO, so you need to make sure to get the a2sd (apps to SD card) feature working. There are steps for this that require creating and formatting a new partition on your SD card, which will result in total data loss on the card. So make sure you back up your SD card before you flash to any of these Sense 3.0 ROMs. Whatever you decide to try, make sure you nandroid backup first. If the ROM flash goes south on you or the ROM just isn't what you are looking for, then you can just nandroid restore to your back up. Think of it as a Restore Point in Windows, you can return to that point with everything just as it was. Good luck and have fun! Flashing ROMs can become very addicting once you get the hang of it.

WOW, and I understood half that... but yes, i will skip the 3.0 for now sense it does take up so much space, hope to get 2.3.4 running tonight :)

I'm about to flash the 2.3.3 version since the dev says it's more stable. Once the 2.3.4 becomes as stable, would there be an issue in just updating the ROM (wiping cache and dalvix) or would I need to do a complete wipe with a fresh install?

Can someone report back any changes? If it's a bit more stable, I may give it a shot again...

@southphilly...how is the battery life with that kernel. i was going to flash that one trying to improve my battery life. I didnt wipe my battery stats when i flashed the rom, so i did it today. This is a really smooth Rom. I was thinking of trying Mikfroyo, but that seemed really complicated. like adding boot animation and a lot of other stuff. is there a zip with everything in it?

Ok, so I am trying 2.3.3 and it is way to plain for me wow... doesnt even have the marker installed :(

I have installed Juice Defender. Do i need it? i have governor set for conservative, min cpu set @245, max idle set at 460, max cpu set at1113. the is a selection in the advanced setting that says Restore on boot...Restore cpu settings on boot. Does that mean the juice defender settings wont take effect until i check this and reboot?

You have to flash the Google apps after you flash the ROM before the initial reboot. You can still put the market on your phone. Just put the gapps zip on the root of your SD, bottom into recovery and flash as normal. Reboot and your all good to go. Hope this helped. :-)

None of the stock AOSP ROMs have any of the Google Apps pre installed, not even Cyanogen. You have to flash the Google Apps zip file after you flash the ROM. These directions are pretty clear in the OP of the ROM thread on XDA. As a general rule, you should always read the OP of any ROM you want to flash. Most ROM flashes follow a pretty standard procedure, but there are some that have specific steps you need to follow. Plus, reading the OP will clue you in as to what's working and what's not.

I noticed that the dev has been sitting on 1.2o for a few days now so I think I'm finally gonna update from 1.2e :)
