[ROM][GINGERBREAD] CyanogenMOD 7 Nightly Builds.

Im bumping mine up from #178 to the lastest night , well juz cuz I can
no data wipe just cache and dalvik, of course I NEVER use rom manager to help me flash it can be evil when flashing roms with :p

The way I see it Cron is...

If a woman in a trench coat walks up to me (Ladies, feel free to substitute George Clooney) and flashes me. I'm OK with that. If she does it the next day, I'm still OK with that, even though nothing has changed! ;)

And that's why they call him THE STIG!!!!!!!

I am having an issue with the phone resetting after talking for 30-45 minutes. its the weirdest thing, happens every night. running CM7.1RC1 i dont think anyone can help me with that..

so

can i flash a nightly over RC1? just wipe cache and dalvik and flash the nightly??
or if there is a different process?

Thank in advance
Haig

Nope, that's the process. Download the latest nightly and go for it. If you start getting issues like force closes Id try a fresh install.

aww... i thought this was for thunderbolt... it just gave me an error when i tried 2 flash... any1 know where i can get the download to thunderbolt nightly?? cant find it ANYWHERE!!

Just looking at their website and it doesn't look like Cyanogen has a version for the Thunderbolt...yet.

Can you make/receive calls after connecting and disconnecting a BT device?

Sorry man, I never use BT. I've got an earpiece around somewhere but haven't used it in about 2 years. If I can find it, and if it still works I'll give it a test run.

My audio sometimes completely goes away after disconnecting bluetooth. Only remedy is a re-boot. Nightly #177 on Dinc.

Sent from my SCH-I800

The bluetooth broke somewhere in the 170's, I had to flash back to 151 to get it back. I was just curious if anyone knew if it was working again. I suppose I could get off my lazy butt and flash it myself. LOL

If anyone is feeling anxious to get their hands on the new "Ring" style lockscreen, awesome XDA dev tiny4579 has uploaded his own build since the CM buildbot isn't playing nice tonight it looks like. This build is just like any other CM7 nightly, so just a wipe of cache/dalvik should do just fine. Unless you feel a full wipe is necessary.

For anyone who is unsure of what new lockscreen I am talking about, here is a demo video; http://youtu.be/VnQzT9QyJFQ

Link for tiny4579's build: Download update squished zip

EDIT: YouTube embedding was acting funny, just a link for now.

Flashing 208 now. Not that I would use the new unlock ring since I use pattern, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway.

Using the new ring and its pretty cool. Its not "as good" as the true sense version but its pretty cool and makes a very nice option.

Thanks for the hook up crondable. Ill hit the thanks button when I get back to a computer.

Update: Been messing with the ring lock screen and after figuring out how to get the custom icon to work, I'm gonna say this is very cool. Again, the true Sense version, in my opinion, is still the bomb-diggity (do people still say that?) but as far as AOSP lock screens go this is my new favorite!

I love it functionality-wise, and it is crazy smooth, although I'm not a fan of the bubble like icons. I'm sure we will soon see some lockscreen metamorphs. It definitely isn't as elegant as the official Sense 3.0 lock, but it's free open-source goodness. :)
