Well, in hereint to any overclocking is higher battery drain. But how much, I cant tell you. I can tell you this however. I am using the same performance level settings that I used on all my prior ROMS (CleanROM, sROM) and people loved the battery life on those so I would expect similar results with this one. But like I said, its TBD. Maybe some one who has ran drews kernel longer than I have can chime in and say for a fact. But overall I am sure battery life will be decent.

ALSO: I have included No Frills CPU Control so you can clock it down (Or UP!) if you feel the need. Just throwin that out there...

Fair enough, I seem to be getting rather decent battery life, out of this. I like having it O/C'd for stuff, but was just curious. It is nice though having juice defender clock it down during screen off/idle times to save on battery.

I will be putting in the old sROM theme that people liked and I will be adding a couple more icon packs.

Yes, please do. I just reflashed the zip theme from recovery for sROM because I love it. Plus the black google search and mms stuff. I can't wait to see what else you throw in.

I set it to optimus s and still the same error. Im not too concerned cause my phone is honestly on its last leg. hopefully getting and epic soon. but good rom none the less sir thank you for your time

To dirty flash to gROM 2.0, I just flash the zip in recovery without wiping anything right? No problems?

loving the rom, but seem to be getting alot of FC's. Market quite often. Also, the sense clock wouldnt update the time, and apon trying to update would FC every time. Not sure if it was just a fluke or what? I did a full wipe before flashing this version. Anyone else having issues?

Thats the same issue as the power widget. Its alot of widgets that are effected. The power widget is just more obvious, you dont see anything. Widgets like Sense Clock wont update correctly on your screen.

Same fix, plop the widget down on your screen, reboot and after your phone has restarted you should be good to go.

O/C'ed at 748 is all good. but its even better on 806 instead. had it on the last release and this one. no random reboots at all. 806 works fine for me. i don't know bout anyone else

No thats nor normal at all. If I were you I would re-download and try again. Something went wrong. Make sure you do a good wipe first.

Huh, What? I dont know. Strange. I just downloaded the entire ROM in like 1 minute even. All I can tell you is in the last 48 hours I have served up almost 1/2 terabytes of ROMS. Thats a lot! Thats why I had to switch hosts today. lol GoDaddy cant handle that volume, lol

Now that's weird because I did not see it with the SenseClock... Have you seen it on any other widgets? But I will tell you the Sense Clock is temperamental the very first time you run it. Very picky little app but runs like a charm after that, lol. I love that program. I would ditch HTC Sense if it worked right on HDPI devices.

Yeah man, it rolls out! I clocked it at 806 for 24 hours before releasing it but... You know, I figured I would neuter it just a little for public consumption. lol

LOL.. nice!! hey 806 gives me 24% at the end of the day wHen i turn my phone on from 7am-11pm.. truthfully some ROM'S i've tried either dealt well with the speed at the consequence of draining my battery ASAP!! or doing its "should i wait till he's in the middle of something to reboot" dance with my phone. but this i have to say is a very pleasing ROM to both me and my lil Optimus. Thanks!!

Thats why I love working for a datacenter...I've got my own server(s) on dedicated 100Mb ports. Gotta love the perks

What I'm curious about though is people's thoughts on the ROM Updater. Haven't seen much chat on the subject so I was curious as to the general consensus. I'm still rockin' the original gROM because I was waiting for a CM7 port but since that doesn't look like it will be out anytime in the near future I was thinking about updating.
