OK Tom seems to be running good except for it keep splitting the screen like the lock screen would be slit in 2 an the sliders would be merged into the middle.the same will happen wen I'm on the internet too it would be like pushed over off the screen

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm new to this. How does ad blocking work? I assume it works like AdFree where there is a host list that is checked. Is there some way to update the host list in gROM, or is it all done behind the scenes? Is there a settings screen somewhere?

Otherwise, awesome job, the addition of Drew's kernel fixed my inability to receive push notifications when the phone was in standby.

For people with call volume problems, try cranking the volume all the way up while in a call and then lowering it down to your preferred setting; it worked for me. It's almost as if after an update, the sound level resets and becomes out of "sync" with whatever the current setting is. Just my guess without knowing what I'm talking about.

Yeah, its something in the kernel. I posted in Drews thread about it. I wonder if someone can screen cap it?

Its modified host file. You dont need to touch it and if there is an update I will post it in ROM Updater. Which is currently broek thanks to my hosting provider

ROM Updater is back up!

Go to settings and remove the current theme server and then add the server again per the instructions!

Is anyone having trouble with GPS staying on? It locks for only brief periods -- impossible to keep it locked to use a GPS tracker like MyTracks. Still on gROM 1.2 with ginngerkerrnel 5.1. Any reason to think upgrading will fix this?

Never saw the issue on either version. I can tell you for a fact that version 2.0 works perfect. I tested it earlier for someone else and it had no issues at all.... Do clean flash and you will be good.

Its not a ROM issue or a kernel issue. I dont even know how that could have happened, lol

finally tried ROM Updater... ROM Updater= BADASS. i like the fact i didn't need need to manually flash the chosen theme either. my phone still hasn't "Cheated" on gROM yet.. don't think it will either. this ROM is to smooth and easy on the O/C to give up anytime soon or ever. AWESOME WORK

Told you ROM Updater was tight! I got permission from jstnp to put all the themes in there too.

There will never be a reason to be on the recovery screen ever again. lol

I have a question that maybe someone can answer for mme?. I'm on optirom w.ith ext4 sdcard formatted. I was thinking of trying grom 2.0. Is that a going to be a problem with my card formatted to ext4? Should I turn it off? Or do I have to reformat my card? If the latter is the case then I probably just stay where I'm at. Thanks for any advice.

Quick question... is the No-IQ patch included in your rom, or in the rom updater when applying the theme team themes? (I see it is included when applying them manually, but like the ROM updater ability)

Also, when using ROM updater, I see fonts and ringtones but not themes... and I followed your directions to a T.

No-IQ is something that jstnp did. Its not included in my ROM.

Loving the update, Scott. Once it settled in, booting is remarkably faster than stock. I was getting a lot of FC's on Rom updater after exiting the full screen preview of the mod. Didn't seem to matter which mod, apparently though, they were the ones you had showing that were for the EVO I guess. I will let you know what I find since all the updater change stuff. It was doing it like every time though.

Also, only other thing I've noticed is when playing Angry Birds, (any of the three), that occasionally it will freeze mid play, not even FC, just freeze, and you have to stop it. Trying to replay just causes a black screen, whole phone doesn't freeze, but you have to exit via, "home" key. Restart is required to play again. Not sure why it happens, but it isn't all the time. Other then that, I am loving it. :3
