EDIT - I'm now back to stock GB with root and USB is functioning as it should. But now my home and search buttons don't work.

Strangenss thickens! REally? Dude, I am about to tell you something... This is true...

The same thing happened to me when I was swapping out recoveries and radios, etc. I lost my home button and could only use back to get to the home screen. But once again, this went away when I got the radio, the recovery on, did a full wipe and then Flashed. Its been solid since then.

What recovery are you using right this moment with this issue?

Yes we are about to take this puppy off the tracks.... I know.. .Maybe we should go to PM and troubleshoot or Gtalk?

I looked through the thread (more or less) and didn't see anyone mention this, but when I flashed this the clock was hours ahead as some times it would add the same letter twice, like if I hit "a" it might come up as "aa"

Worked perfect for me. Updated Profile then updated PRL. Had no issues at all. Did you fresh wipe before install? Were you getting good 3G signal? IDK?

If the clock is not the right time that is a Sprint issue. Sprint controls the time on the phone. If your getting double taps on the keyboard then you need to clean your screen, lol...

Interesting! When I press the update profile/prl button, nothing happens, no pop up or anything.

Yes I wiped everything as always. Time for a dirty flash.

Nevermind, figured it out. My bad....... good old user error to blame. I had froze "Update Device" in Titanium Backup last night when I flashed the rom when I was checking things out. I forgot about it. lol

Is anyone else experiencing the "feature" of extreme screen responsiveness? I can't even drag an item on my home screen without accidently opening the app nor browse web pages, its REALLY annoying. Anyone having symptoms like that? I just used the Z device test app and it seems fine. I really don't know...

EDIT: Seems that this is an issue with Drew's new kernel, gonna reflash without the kernel and verify.

Time issue? No, I dont beleive this is the ROM. Can you explain in more detail exactly what is going on? Does the time stay incorrect? Does it ever correct itself? Is there a certain thing that triggers it? etc? If it is in the ROM its something sprint borked but I cannot reproduce it...

so i just flashed to this rom using these instructions:

How to Flash
Download ROM and place on the root of your SD Card
Boot into recovery mode
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Flash ROM
Reboot and enjoy!

and the rom installed fine, but my phone cant connect to the sprint network now.... #Help:

Edit: I restored to my last nandroid backup so my phone works again, but what couldve caused the service to go out???

maybe they had a temp. outage, i didnt have service for a little bit, 0 service at all


But making sure, you did have the stock ginger installed first correct? Baseband VH ?

Is it possible to do these in gROM?
1) Show battery remaining percentage (as in Circle Battery Mod)
2) Change the 3G icon to something bigger - the current one is way too tiny...
3) Change the Wifi Scan Interval to something longer (e.g. 250s) to save battery?

In addition, do you also plan to make any kernel tweaks (or any other tweaks) for the purpose of saving battery (or make patches for it?)

Does anyone else not have the dictionary for the standard android keyboard? The only word suggestions that are showing up for me are proper names, that's it... it appears that this is yet another Sprint/LG issue, as the stock rom seems to be having the same issue. Seems like that would be something to verify before releasing software - good work Sprint.
