Is this do-able on rooted evo 4g 2.3.3.....I see 3d ringtones but it wouldn't unzip on evo 4g.It looked tempting cause after rooting with revolutionary, tethering stoped working after one day, I'm searching for a rom that makes tether work. Ouch.

No, this is only for optimus s phones, as it's based off the stock sprint rom for the optimus.

Really like the rom but I hate the new gb update. Will be coming back to this once gb update is alittle more stable and when am oc'ed kernal becomes available until then reverting back to use drew's cm7..

You should check with Drew on how to install his ROM. I really dont know.

You dont want to do that. Its made for a totally diff device. You want a nice Evo 4G ROM? Send me your device for a week and you will be happy with the results

-NEVERMIND.. MUST BE AN ISSUE WITH MY WIFI AT HOME.. IT'S WORKING FINE ON ANOTHER WIFI NETWORK... -

I appear to have borked my Wifi by performing the following steps:
1) Let battery die.
2) Plug phone into wall.
3) Boot to Recovery.
4) Wipe battery stats and dalvik cache.
5) Reboot.

Now, even those my phone is showing that I'm connected via WiFi, I can't browse websites, download apps, anything... In order to get access to the internet, I have to be on the 3G network only.

I've wiped everything and reflashed gRom to no avail. I don't know what else to do.

I'm able to connect to my WiFi network but programs that would use the signal can't seem to recognize that I'm connected via WiFi and report that I don't have an internet connection.

Any ideas?

That stinks!

I just bought a new router a bout 3 days ago. I have a Motorola modem (The Motorola SBG6580 SURFboard eXtreme Wireless Cable Modem Gateway - Overview - Motorola Mobility, Inc. USA) with built in WiFi and the WiFi is TERRIBLE! REAL BAD! So bad that I had to buy a new router which I configured as an access point. Ever since doing so I have been happy! It was a Belkin N150 from Walmart (Walmart.com: Belkin N150 Enhanced Wireless Router: Computers) for $30.00 and I am golden!

Wonder if I should download and do a dirty flash over my install... I can't do prl updates when grom's installed... I backed up and reverted to the stock upgrade, and it worked fine...

You can. That is strange you cannot. Someone else had the issue you are describing and it was some sort of setting or something. Maybe you can scan through the thread or they can re-post?

Had a strange problem yesterday, may not be rom relaated but my radio seemed to crash after a reboot, 3g would not connect for anything, 1x would connect then drop. Ended up having to backup in recovery and restore same backup to fix it. Anyone else?

In my haste I forgot to get logs lol

What were you running before this? This requires zvh baseband (the most recent) before you can flash this. Refer to the update to zvh post on the rooting roms and hacks page for more info if you never upgraded.

I had a potential bug today, I was in a hurry so I didn't try to replicate it.
While Navigation was running and I was driving my phone just randomly rebooted, I could use Maps with no issues....
I'll try to mess with it tomorrow and see if I can make it happen again and report back.

I just got done with a big Evo 3D project so I will start looking at an update tomorrow on this ROM. No ETA, no feature list, no upgrade list yet. Sorry... Im sure what ever I choose will be a worthwhile upgrade though

If the same back up you made then restored fixed the problem sounds like possible carrier issues?

Not sure. I just tried to install it myself and it installs on the Evo 3D no issue but not on the Optimus. If you need it PM me.

Strange. Let us know if you can replicate it. But it sounds like it might be a Google App issue.

On My Optiums S, I haven't run a custom ROM before, and I have just reflashed the Stock V9 recovery, because that's what version my phone has been. However, I havent been prompted by the Update message in a while, is there a way i could get it to pop up so i can update to VH? I tried the Updater tool, but it just says that i am up to date.
