I had a few problems. I was happily using 2.1 after dirty flashing up from 2.0. When 2.2 was released I was like sweet and dirty flashed that also. When I got in my apps were gone but my settings still intact. Zeam launcher was gone and only a broken link to dolphin browser was left. I was like no sweat and booted into recovery and did a factory reset, cache etc. and re-flashed.

Everything seems to be working fine now except for wifi. I'll be connected but won't have internet access or it won't connect at all! 3G works fine though. Please help me out I love this ROM I just want to fix this wifi issue.

PS. Before this I had a problem where wifi would connect but the indicator wouldn't show any signal strength. The connect would still be fine though. I think I mentioned this in the past.

apps being gone on this new update is a known issue, wiping cache (once) and rooting a few times seems to fix it. as for wifi....does your router have a security? (only allowing certain mac address to connect?) ive had this issue with mine (would connect but cant access internet), then i added my mac address of the phone to the allowed list and now its ok.

Umm what do you mean by root a few times? The phone is rooted.

I did a dirty flash of 2.2 on top of 2.2 and the wifi issue seems to have been fixed!

Dirty flashed from 2.1 to 2.2 and everything is working great. Went over to armor games and tested out a recent game (Kingdom Rush) and the intro ran just perfectly. So cool!!

Now, the only complaint I have is that you are rolling out updates too quickly. It seems like I have to reflash every few days. I didn't sign up for this crap Scott!

i still cant get any themes to install from the updater i also tried wiping the caches and flashing from recovery and still it freezes on the lg screen. i tried every theme and they all do the same thing, the dialer and fonts work just fine. i'm thinking about doing a full wipe and reflash the rom but i wanted to get some thoughts before having to back up and restore all my apps. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks.

A dirty flash is when you flash over an older version of the ROM without wiping everything first. I usually do a full wipe every time just to be safe and TB restores all my data in no time.

BTW awesome update, this ROM is (even more) fantastic!

I flashed the rom and couldn't receive any service, tried a couple dirty flashes not sure if I got a corrupt file or what.

Thats very off because I tried a few of them and had no issues. Maybe a fresh install will solve the problem for you.

Is there a known issues/bug log? I'm really exceited about trying gROM (which would be my first root/custom ROM) but before I take the plunge, I'd like to see what the issues are (without having to read through 108 pages of comments). I'm most concerned about WiFi tether. I really need that to work.

thanks so apparently i did a dirty flash when i updated so if i was to do TB then flash what the rom updater downloaded then redownload TB and what it restores all your apps or somethin then with the fresh flash and wiping it aint a " dirty " flash ahh got cha thanks

Ok so finaly,git rom downloaded an install working great really fast an smooth. I installed darktremor an it says it running but my internal mem is 88mb used an 77mb not not sure whats up if anyone can help that would be great. Thanks

try uninstalling both the apps then redownload them

Its not just that I'm not getting push notifications from either app also... gmail notifications are slow but still work

My Exchange emails push just fine. Between my work PC, my Iconia Tab and the Optimus, they all ding withing a second of each other when an email pops up in my exchange email box.

First - Thanks for the ROM. This was my first time rooting/installing a custom ROM and to say I was a little nervous a couple of times is an understatement. The difference from stock gingerbread is amazing. Much faster. Much cleaner. All around great. I was having a few nagging issues with the 2.3.3 from LG and this seems to have taken care of every issue I was having. (completely installing from a clean phone probably helps too)

It took me around 3 hours to get it all going because I had to search around and measure twice/cut once many times. When in doubt run a wipe from the boot loader

I do have one question - on the ROM updater - my server list is completely blank and I can't find a list of servers to add in. Any help would be appreciated.
