Updated to the latest nightly via dirty flash (no wipe). Working great. Looks like Pete pulled in the same toggle setup from AOKP ROM...

I think about the only other option I would like to see is a user selectable battery mod. I don't mind working up a battery mod for my personal use but for the general user that isn't so tech savy this is still a bad deal having to look at the useless stock battery meter.

I agree Paul. I would love to see an option to change the battery icon to a percent instead. Is that what you mean?

Yes. Its not that its hard to do, I think the only hang up with it or reason Pete hasn't done it is because not everyone likes the same taste of battery mod. So rather than trying figure out what is the right mod to add he is just staying away from it.

Is anyone noticing that Facebook takes forever to load on ICS? I doubt it's Pete's ROM; thinking it's ICS. But man, app launches, but then takes forever to load content such as news feed.

Its neither. It's Facebooks app. Its coded horrible. I might end up going to back Friendcaster. It used to be better but lately it takes forever in a day to load the data.

Yeah .... I have to say, Facebook loaded 10000x faster on my Palm Pre; and it wasn't that bad on gingerbread ... but now, it's horrible!

Just curious to know what sleep setting do you have enabled? Pet's ROM is 30 mins, as default, but I recently changed to 10 min, hoping that it may improve battery longevity. To be honest, though, I'm not really sure what the sleep setting does and how it otherwise impacts everything else going on with the OS and apps (particularly those set to push).

It's within "Display & Interface," just below auto-dim backlight.

I have the sleep setting at the minimum, 15 sec. I don't remember ever changing that.

That just means when the screen goes to sleep. I keep me at 30 seconds. 15 was to short for me.
I can't wait for peters next nightly. I'm thinking the 4g slider will be ready. The ROM is so solid and fast.

Ahhh right, sleep = screening turning off, that's right. For some reason, i was thinking that it'd be a setting on putting the CPU into idle mode or what not to save battery. Thanks.

is everyones phone still rooted? I just tried to update AdFree and root can't be found? WTF?

Try another root app, it could just be Adfree. I've had this happen too.

its all my rooted apps. I wonder if I should maybe redownload the rom and reinstall and see what happens.
