I did flash but root explorer doesnt have root access. Ill try flashing super user....

Try downloading Superuser from the market. I don't know why you don't have root access.

Edit: Sorry, just read your post xD I have no idea what's causing that.

Nope this is dirty version still.lol Over the next few days this will get cleaned up and more things should be working and smoothed out. This is a very fast thrown together project that will get better as more time is spent on it.

I don't really know what's involved in the process but is there any way you can start doing the updates through Rom Manager. I know you're trying to keep it on this thread which is understandable. But just a question.

3g is pretty quick. There are no 4g settings. Does it run on 4g with 3g signal? Loving it. Found a few bugs but livable.

And how did you get GApps?? They aren't in the SDK and they are a royal pain to get working with AOSP builds (I know this from experience)

I'm just trying to learn a lesson or two from the masters

Has anybody checked out the Panorama feature on this yet, i went to the camera and it went to the mode but when i tried to snap the pics for the mode it had like a gray screen come up and block the view of what i was trying to see when i would want to move my phone doing the panorama feature?

Wi fi wasn't connecting... until I went to the advanced menu and unchecked wifi connectivity checks... After I unchecked that I was good to go! Wifi is working for me

Everything is working great.
only problems i ran into was No root,Battery Monitor Widget will open but when u try to get into the settings it will force close and the widget doesnt show up, and the dingy screen. but we cant be picky!

i guess i really take voodoo color for granted and it makes a really big difference LOL

thats about it,
im going to bed now and im going to run it all day tomorrow at work.

if im not mistaken google released the SDK right after they announced the new nexus.
so thats how the SDK came about, as for getting it to run, somehow gingerbread files are involved to patch up some things.
